EPL: Arsenal vs Chelsea 0-0

Arsenal inched closer to Champions League qualification after they drew 0-0 with Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

This game had promised much but, in truth, never really caught light. A much-changed Chelsea edged the first half but it was Arsenal that hit the woodwork through Robin van Persie and Laurent Koscielny.

S-League: Brunei DPMM fc vs Tanjong Pagar United 3-2

It was an equally dramatic evening over at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium as DPMM FC reclaimed top spot with a 3-2 win over Tanjong Pagar United.

The Bruneian outfit looked headed for a comfortable outing after Shahrazen Said's first-half brace put them 2-0 up at the break.

EPL: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Arsenal 0-3

Arsenal eased five points clear of fourth-place Tottenham with a comfortable 3-0 win at Wolves on Wednesday night.

This game was won in the first 11 minutes. First the galloping Theo Walcott was brought down in the area by Sebastien Bassong. Robin van Persie dispatched the penalty (his first Premier League goal in 444 minutes of football) and the Wolves defender was sent off.

Mikel Arteta fired home a spectacular 87th-minute winner as Arsenal strengthened their grip on third place by beating Manchester City at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

A game that neither side could afford to draw seemed to be heading precisely that way before the Spaniard robbed David Pizarro, strode forward and beat Joe Hart from 25 yards.

S-League: Brunei DPMM FC vs Courts Young Lions 1-0

DPMM FC needed a last-gasp goal from Azwan Salleh in order to stay top of the Great Eastern-YEO's S.League with a 1-0 win over Courts Young Lions.

Heading into Friday's game at the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium ahead of second-placed Harimau Muda only on goal difference, Vjeran Simunic's men were aware that anything less than a win could see them lose top spot by the end of the weekend.
