Mesut Ozil scored twice as a late burst sealed Arsenal's victory over Norwich and extended their lead at the top of the Premier League.

The Gunners looked lethargic after the international break before Jack Wilshere's superb volleyed opener and Ozil's headed goal.

The World's First Inflatable, Transportable Concert Hall

This is the 'Ark Nova', an inflatable and easily transportable concert hall that can fit 500 patrons and I'm trying really hard not to say looks like Grimace's @$$hole. Dammit, I kind of already did, didn't I? I suck at keeping secrets.

It measures 98 feet by 118 feet and features a rounded, organic design by British sculptor Anish Kapoor and Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. The hall was commissioned by the Swiss Lucerne Festival as a way to bring concerts and performances to areas of Japan that were affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami

Think of it as a circus tent but with no poles, less elephant shit and better acoustics. And think of me as a man who lives by his own rules, drifting across the country stirring up adventure -- and trouble. "Dinnertime!" MOM, NOT NOW.

Ultra-Realistic Batman & Robin Figures From 1966 Movie

 

These are the super realistic looking 1/6 scale Batman and Robin figures made by Hot Toys (available early next year) and based on Adam West and Burt Ward's appearance in the 1966 Batman movie. Each comes with a choice of faces, different weapons, and a bunch of different interchangeable hands so if you want to pose Robin holding Batman's penis you could probably do that.

EPL: W.B.A vs Arsenal 1-1

Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League with a 1-1 draw at West Brom on Sunday.

 

The stalemate sees the end of a record-breaking run of 12 straight away wins but, on the day, the point was hard-earned.

 

Claudio Yacob headed the hosts in front three minutes before half-time from Morgan Amalfitano’s cross.

Count Me In: Giant Slip N' Slide Launch Ramp Into Pool

This is the giant slip and slide launch ramp built at the Ohio Dreams Action Sports Camp in Butler, Ohio. The ramp is usually used to practice ski jumping into the pool below but now they've added slip n' slides for people with less Olympic ambition. It looks like fun. Fun, and a great way to hurt yourself. And how much fun can a person really have if there isn't a risk of injury?

ISS Astronaut Makes Space Dinosaur Toy For Son

Astronaut Karen Nyberg made this stuffed dinosaur toy for her young son out of scrap supplies she found aboard the International Space Station. Hopefully not anything important like I would have done. "GW -- where did you get that big red button?" I found it. "Found it where?" Attached to the emergency control panel. *sirens blaring, space station burns up in atmosphere*

"Made in space!" Nyberg, an Expedition 37 crew member, exclaimed in her caption for a photo of the toy giant lizard that she uploaded to the Pinterest photo-sharing website. "I made this dinosaur for my son last Sunday, September 22."

Nyberg, a self-described crafter whose hobbies including quilting and sewing, packed threads, sewing needles and small fabric samples for her trip to space. But to make the dinosaur, she scavenged materials that she found aboard her orbital home.

"It is made out of Velcro-like fabric that lines the Russian food containers [that are] found here on the International Space Station," Nyberg wrote. "It is lightly stuffed with scraps from a used T-shirt."

Disney Princesses As Tattooed Pinup Girl Tattoos

This is a series of Disney princesses (with a couple non-princesses thrown in) digitally painted by artist Tim Shumate in the style of tattoos of tattooed pinup girls. He did a great job. "Enough with the Disney princesses already." YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH. My little sister loves these things and it's the least I can do for making her entire life so extraordinarily difficult. Isn't that right, Becky.

Am I also the one who had to drive to your school last week and drop off a bag of clothes because you pooped your pants after lunch? Oh right -- I AM. She wasn't lying though, it really is me who loves them so much.

Arsenal celebrated the 17th anniversary of Arsène Wenger’s appointment as manager by taking a giant stride towards the knockout stage of this season’s Champions League.

 

Their comfortable 2-0 win over Napoli at Emirates Stadium puts them in total control of Group F.

EPL: Swansea City vs Arsenal 1-2

Arsenal moved two points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 2-1 victory at Swansea on Saturday evening.

 

Early second-half goals from Serge Gnabry and Aaron Ramsey saw Arsène Wenger’s side complete a dogged but deserved win. Ben Davies reduced the arrears nine minutes from time but the visitors held on with something to spare.
