Champions League group is revealed

Arsenal will face Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray and Anderlecht in the Champions League group stage.

 

The draw took place in Monaco on Thursday and saw the Gunners, who were one of the eight seeded clubs in Pot One, drawn in Group D.

 

Arsenal qualified for the group stage for the 17th consecutive season after beating Besiktas 1-0 in their play-off.

Alexis Sanchez scored his first goal for the club as Arsenal sealed their place in the Champions League group stage with a dramatic, almost unbearably tense victory.

Fully Customized Movie-Accurate TMNT Action Figures

These are the TMNT movie-based action figures (links to eBay auction) that were fully customized and painted by John Harmon of Mint Condition Customs (of these other painted Ninja Turtle action figures fame) to look way less shitty than they originally come. Unsurprisingly, John did a great job as usual and polished these turds so fine you could probably see your reflection in them (before and after shots below).

So, how many of you went to see the new TMNT movie this weekend? How was it? I thought about going then decided against it. Just kidding, I had to spend the whole weekend in jail and didn't have a choice choice. I did make some new friends though. "You mean lovers?" Yes :(

Community Shield: Arsenal vs Manchester City 3-0

SUMMARY

Arsenal experienced that winning feeling at Wembley once again as a polished performance saw off Manchester City in the Community Shield.

Santi Cazorla opened the scoring for the FA Cup holders with a low shot in the 21st minute and Aaron Ramsey added a second three minutes before the break, finishing expertly after good work from Yaya Sanogo.

The best was saved for last though, substitute Olivier Giroud producing a thunderous effort from 25 yards to put the seal on a eye-catching victory over a rather subdued City side.
