Goalkeeper Manuel Almunia has told Arsenal fans that manager Arsène Wenger is the right man to bring the glory days back to the club.The Frenchman's reign at the club is coming under fire and question from many quarters, putting in doubt his continued tenure.
But Almunia says that despite another season without a trophy, Wenger is the right man to lead the club and has the respect of the entire squad.
Almunia said: "Working alongside him makes you feel incredibly relaxed and at peace.
"We train hard day-in, day-out - but he tells us that we will only feel the pressure at the end of the week, during the game.
"We call him the boss. He is the visible face of this club, of Arsenal's project and he is very important for the club.
"What we are lacking is consistency and regularity, also maybe more experience, not in terms of age but in some aspects of the game, our weak points.
"Playing good football is not always easy and we must adapt our games to the circumstances everywhere we go and to be a little bit nastier when needed."
