Reported Arsenal target Edin Dzeko has hinted he would prefer a summer move to AC Milan after revealing his support of the Italian club.
Wolfsburg striker Dzeko has been strongly linked with a summer transfer following a prolific goalscoring season in the German Bundesliga.
Arsenal and Premier League rivals Manchester City have been mooted as potential suitors while Milan are believed to have joined the race for his signature.
And the powerful Bosnian has intimated that he would choose Milan, who are rumoured to have met Wolfsburg officials, over a move.
The 23-year-old is quoted in the Daily Mirror as saying: "They [Milan] have always been my favourite club, right back to my days as a small boy, growing up in Sarajevo."
Meanwhile, Wolfsburg executive Jurgen Marbach has hinted that the club could approach the likes of Atletico Madrid forward Diego Forlan during the transfer window.
Marbach said: "Such players are quite our cup of tea, no doubt about it. We are looking for someone able to compete with Grafite and Edin Dzeko and who would not just be sitting on the bench to step in.
"We are not afraid to dig deep into our pockets to poach one. We just have to make sure our investment is a good one that would pay back."
