Theo Walcott grabbed a hat-trick as Arsenal smashed seven goals past Newcastle on Saturday evening at Emirates Stadium.

The England international, playing in his new role as a striker, hit his side’s first, fourth and seventh in an incredible game. He also set up an important strike for Olivier Giroud.

EPL: Wigan Athletic vs Arsenal 0-1

By Richard Clarke at DW Stadium

Arsenal ground out a crucial 1-0 win at Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

The all-important goal came on the hour when Theo Walcott was clipped by Jean Beausejour in the area and Mikel Arteta scored from the spot.

Arsène Wenger's side had been free-flowing and fluent in their 5-2 win at Reading on Monday but, this afternoon, they showed the other side of their character.

Back The The Future LEGO Set Becoming Reality

A Back to the Future DeLorean LEGO set that started on the LEGO Cuusoo website is becoming a reality after reaching the mandatory 10,000 votes and getting the green light from LEGO (after securing the licensing rights). The set will be available mid 2013 and come with enough bricks to mod the time machine into the version from any of the three movies. Plus the folks who designed the set are donating any royalties they receive directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. That's a beautiful thing.

NASA's New Buzz Lightyear Spacesuit Prototype

TO INFINITY AND -- I think I'm just going to sit down for a while.
This is NASA's new prototype spacesuit, the Z-1. It makes the wearer look like Buzz Lightyear. Personally, I want a spacesuit that makes me look like a Big Daddy from Bioshock. That way aliens will think twice before messing with me. They catch you in this thing and your ass is getting PROBED. That said, I think the orthopedic sneakers were a nice touch.

Ninja Turtle Krang Android Body Made Out Of LEGO

This is Krang's android body made entirely out of little modular plastic blocks by LEGO builder Bruce Lowell because the company foolishly didn't make an ACTUAL Krang android body playset. What the hell, LEGO? Of course they also didn't approve my LEGO dildo playset either because it "wasn't in line with our target demographic." I thought I WAS their target demographic. "You're an adult, GW." Now that's debatable.

Learning By Looking: The Evolution Of Batman Icons

This is a poster featuring the evolution of Batman icons over the past 72 years. It's like a static version of the video version of the symbols mutating that we saw a couple years ago. This one you can hang on your wall though. Granted it might not look as good hanging there as an 8 x 10 autographed photo of yours truly, but I do have a really cool signature. I do this really curvy flourish when I cross my T's AND dot my i's with little hearts.

What Happened To The Reindeer?!: LEGO Santa Mech

This is a LEGO Santa mech built by LEGOmaniac Mark Anderson. I guess Santa got tired of having to take care for all those reindeer and (now would cover your children's eyes) SLAUGHTERED AND ATE THEM. *kids crying* I warned you. Santa's mech features a bubble of presents on the back and arm mounted 'Naughty' and 'Nice' cannons that presumably shoot the proper presents down your chimney. Or maybe just blast them through a window, who knows -- Santa seems to be cutting some serious corners on the whole tradition thing.

Not A Bad Idea: Conceptual Bracelet Keys

These are the conceptual Bracelet KEYS designed by Kim Ji Soo, Kim Jeongmin and Chung Boogun. They're bracelets with a key on one end. Not a bad idea. I mean, as long as you can still provide enough torque to twist the thing.

EPL: Arsenal vs West Brom 2-0

By Richard Clarke at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over West Brom at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The points were secured thanks to a penalty in each half from Mikel Arteta – the first controversial, the second undeniable.

Arsène Wenger’s side have had an uncomfortable relationship with spot-kicks in recent years. The Spaniard had missed a potentially match-winning effort from 12 yards with the final kick of the game against Fulham a month ago and his opener this afternoon was his side’s first conversion at Emirates Stadium for 17 months.
