EPL: Newcastle United vs Arsenal 0-1

12/13: Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal - Laurent Koscielny

They finished in the top four thanks to a nervy-jangling 1-0 win at Newcastle United on Sunday.

Laurent Koscielny hooked home the crucial goal from close range in the 52nd minute following Theo Walcott’s free-kick.

Arsenal pushed for a second and came closest when the Englishman nudged a shot against the post in the dying seconds.

Learning By Looking: The Evolution Of Iron Man's Armor

Note: Larger, readable version HERE.

This is an infographic created by the folks over at HalloweenCostumes showing 20 different incarnations of Iron Man's armor over the past fifty years. That...is a lot of armor. No wonder metal prices are so high. You think I haven't thought about stealing copper? I haven't, that sounds like work. Which one is your favorite? I like the 1965 version where his thermal exhaust ports or whatever double as nipples. That's just quality design if you ask me. I can't believe they never designed one with a missile launcher for a penis. OR DID THEY? "They didn't." Damn.

Thanks to Elise, who actually works for Halloween Costumes and can hopefully hook me up with a sexy pirate wench outfit this year.

Cats Love Playing Dress Up: Lion Mane Hats For Cats

lion-cat-hat-1.jpg

This is one of the custom made lion hats sold by Etsy shop Nestanest that makes your cat look like a little lion. And who hasn't dreamed of having a pet lion? Nobody whose dreams I want to hear about, that's for sure. Obviously, the hats will look best on an orange cat, but will still make a non-orange cat look cuter too. I suggest getting a human-sized one to match and just really committing to it. That way whenever you have company comes over you can be all, "ROAR! We're a pride of lions!" Then, presto, you don't have company over anymore.

Insane Insane Insane Lord Of The Rings Battle Of Helm's Deep Recreated w/ 150,000 LEGO Bricks, 1,700 Minifigs

lego-helms-deep-1.jpg

1,700 minifigs!

This is the 150,000-piece LEGO recreation of the Battle of Helm's Deep from Lord of the Rings. It was built by Rich-K & Big J and contains over 1,700 minifigs, which is probably more minifigs than I could eat in my lifetime, but believe me, I'm still going to try anyways. Those little weapons tickle going down and hurt coming out. You ever had a little plastic battleaxe get stuck in your ass sideways? Right, well me neither then. God forbid we share similar experiences so we can grow closer.

For The (Evil) Ladies: Disney Villain High Heels

disney-villain-heels-1.jpg

This is a small series of handmade high-heelsby footwear designer/cobbler Kobi Levi. Each represents a different Disney lady-villain. This is the Evil Queen here, but there are Maleficent and Ursala models after the jump. Unfortunately, there aren't any Victoria's Secret models after the jump, so you're on your own ever getting a boner again after seeing Ursala as a shoe.

AK-47 Turned Into Fully Functional Golden Guitar

ak47-guitar-1.jpg

This is the AK-47 that guitar maker Jimmy DiResta turned into a fully functional guitar for Wycleaf Jean. It carries a powerful message. One about...Haiti? Okay so maybe I don't know what the message is, or if there even is one. Not everything has to make some sort of social or political statement you know. I like how there's a little mini-guitar on the gun's magazine, that was a nice touch. The gold paint? That was a Midas touch. HAHA, SOMEBODY COME SMASH MY F***ING HANDS WITH A HAMMER SO I CAN'T TYPE ANYMORE.

Now You're Just Bragging: Lamborghini Makes A One-Of-A-Kind, Jet Fighter Looking Lamborghini For Itself

egoista.jpg

This is the Lamborghini Egoista, a 5.2-liter V10, 600-horsepower supercar that can hit 0-60 in under two seconds. It was designed as a one-of-a-kind to celebrate the carmaker's 50th birthday. For my 50th? I dunno, maybe somebody will come scatter flower petals at the site of my failed spaceship launch.
To get out of the vehicle, the driver must remove the steering wheel and rest it on the dashboard, open the dome with an electronic command, stand up in their seat, sit down on a precise point of the left-hand bodywork, then swivel their legs 180 degrees from the inside of the cockpit to the outside of the vehicle. At this point they can set their feet down and stand up."

"It is a car for itself, a gift from Lamborghini to Lamborghini, resplendent in its solitude. The Egoista is pure emotion, Never Never Land, which no one can ever possess, and which will always remain a dream, for everyone."

EPL: Arsenal vs Wigan Athletics 4-1

Lukas Podolski celebrates with Per Mertesacker

Arsenal’s top-four equation is now simple. If they win at Newcastle on Sunday, Arsène Wenger’s side will play in the Champions League for the 16th successive season.

Their situation was simplified thanks to a marauding 4-1 win over Wigan on Tuesday night.

The game was won by eight electric second-half minutes in which they scored three times. Theo Walcott’s cute finish restored the lead initially given to them by Lukas Podolski after nine minutes but wiped out by Shaun Maloney’s expert free-kick just before the interval.

EPL: Queens Park Rangers vs Arsenal 0-1

12/13: QPR 0-1 Arsenal - Theo Walcott

Arsenal ground out a crucial 1-0 victory at Queen’s Park Rangers on Saturday to lift themselves back into the top three.

The only goal came after just 20 seconds. The timing of Theo Waclott’s strike matched Gilberto’s goal against PSV in September 2002 and therefore became jointly the Club’s fastest goal since modern records began.
