Arsenal stormed back to preserve a priceless point against Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

 

Arsène Wenger's side seemed to be slipping to an acutely disappointing defeat thanks to an early goal from Luis Suarez and Jordan Henderson's strike on the hour.

 

But Olivier Giroud nodded in his 14th goal of the season three minutes later and Theo Walcott rifled home his 18th this term shortly afterwards as Arsenal turned this hugely-entertaining game on it head.

I Love It When A Plan Comes Together: Radio Controlled LEGO A-Team Van

Did you get that title? Hannibal used to always say that in the show, that's why it's relevant. A rarity for me, I know. This is the radio controlled A-Team van built by LEGO pro Vimal Patel. This is a fancy wooden NES controller coffee table built by the folks at the Bohemian Workbench (who previously built this one). It's made with a bunch of exotic woods, is Wii compatible, comes with a zapper, and costs $7,200. *coughing up blood* That's a lot of money. "Wait -- let's go back to you coughing up blood." I shouldn't have drank it.

Coffee designed after the Nintendo controller from 1985. This functional model is made from premium grade curly maple, birdseye maple, African bubinga, and mahogany and is compatible with the Nintendo Wii. It features dovetail joinery and midcentury modern legs. Also included in a side mounted custom bison holster is a zapper, handmade from bubinga and maple. The zapper functions as a Wii controller while selecting the classic Nintendo on the Wii menu. The zapper also vibrates and has a speaker to replicate the feel and sound of the original Wii controller. The table functions wirelessly and the gun and mount can be easily removed if desired. A glass top and bubinga feet are included for use as table.

In what possibly might be the best ice sculpture to have at a wedding ever, this is a full size Toyota Landcruiser carved out of a block of ice. It even has an open door so you can sit in it and make the steering wheel look even more like it was molded out of shit because people won't stop touching it with their grubby mitts. I'd be a little afraid to sit in it myself, but that's just because one time at a cousin's wedding reception I saw a giant ice swan crack like a glacier and take out the flower girl. Your petal-scattering days are OVER.

Pet Tortoise Found Alive In Locked Storage After 30 Years

Seen here looking pissed as hell, Manuela the red-footed tortoise reluctantly poses for a picture after having gone missing from the Almeida family residence in 1982. Turns out they'd just accidentally locked her in a storage room on the second story of their house for the last 30 years! That, wow, that's just terrible caretaking. Even most pet rocks wouldn't survive that.

...it seems Manuela was hanging out for 30 years in the upstairs storeroom where Leonel Almeida, the father, kept all sorts of old junk he hadn't gotten around to fixing up.

When Leonel died earlier this month, Leandro and his siblings decided to clean out the storeroom, and that's how Manuela came to be by the curb.

According to veterinary scientist Jeferson Pires, tortoises like Manuela are remarkably resilient creatures, and can survive two to three years without eating anything. While they typically subsist on an omnivore's diet in the wild, the Almeidas think Manuela got by on termites.

EPL: Arsenal vs West Ham Utd 5-1

Arsenal returned to form by smashing five goals past West Ham at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

The damage was inflicted in a ten-minute spell after half-time when the excellent Lukas Podolski laid on quickfire goals for Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud. In the midst of that barrage, the Frenchman also grabbed another from the Englishman’s corner.

Theo Walcott struck five minutes from time to win a pulsating FA Cup tie at Brighton on Saturday and send Arsenal into the fifth round.

The England international volleyed home a deflected shot as Arsène Wenger’s side deservedly took the spoils on the south-coast.

In terrifically boring news, Hasbro has decided to replace one of Monopoly's game pieces with a new one and YOU get to vote which old one gets the boot(!) and which one new one takes its place. These are exciting times we live in!

Jack Wilshere struck four minutes from time as Arsenal edged out Swansea to reach the FA Cup fourth round.

While the scoreline was tight, the game was one-sided. The midfielder converted his side’s 26th goalscoring opportunity on the night as Arsène Wenger’s side set themselves up for a mouthwatering tie at Brighton in 10 days’ time.
