Zoom Zoom!: R/C Car Chase Shot Like One From A Movie

This is a video from visual effecter Freddie Wong featuring an R/C car police chase shot to look like one from an action movie. They even built little set pieces like a fruit stand to crash through. That was a nice touch. A punch? A punch is a mean touch. A slap on the ass can go either way depending on who did it and how hard.

Hit the jump for the action-packed video.

Kia Creates Their Own Take On The Batmobile

Apparently Kia and DC Comics have teamed up to create a line of one-of-a-kind Justice League themed cars, using a different model for each character in the group. This is the Batman car here, built using a Kia Optima SXL. Admittedly, it IS kind of slick looking, I'm just having a little trouble imagining Batman behind the wheel. Get it?

Because I bet he always makes Robin drive. LOL, couples.

Hit the jump for a couple more shots.

Real Products: Disney 'Mickey & Friends' Voltron Figure

Note: Larger version HERE with better detail.

This is an officially licensed 'Chogokin King Robot Mickey & Friends' action figure from toymaker Tamashii Nation. All the characters come together to form a giant robot, a la Voltron. Man, I used to have ALL the Voltron toys when I was a kid. A couple My Little Ponies too, back before it even cool to be a Brony. "It's never been cool to be a Brony." Right?! Beanie Babies -- that's the hot shit.
Chogokin King Robot Mickey & Friends is composed of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Steamboat Willy, Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto. Ace Willy is the head, Jet Mickey and Sky Minnie will be the torso, Diver Donald and Aqua Daisy are the arms, while Land Goofy and Dash Pluto & Doghouse will be the legs.
The set will cost around $160 when it comes out next March. Can't wait till March? Well TOO BAD, that's when they come out.

Gallery Of Beautiful Video Game Inspired Stained Glass

Seen here looking way better than the piece of cardboard I have covering the hole in my window, this is a gallery of video game inspired stained glass pieces from Etsy seller MartianGlassWorks. Except this is actually Iron Man here, who isn't really video game related (same kind of goes for the Warhammer ones). I probably shouldn't have used him for the title picture. But you know what? Sometimes I make bad decisions. Like last night I drank a bottle of vodka and cried myself to sleep on the couch watching Jeopardy reruns. Okay that was a bad example, I needed that.

Hit the jump for some Zelda, Portal, Half-Life, and Mega Man action. I especially liked the effect of Mega Man's arm cannon.

Kid's Push-Cart Modded Into Time-Traveling DeLorean

This is lil Cooper's first Halloween. And he is gonna be trick or treating IN STYLE thanks to his mother Cory modding his push-cart into the time-traveling DeLorean from 'Back to the Future'. I can honestly say I've never been more jealous of a child in my entire life. A baby, sure, but that's when your whole world revolves around sleeping and nipples. I want that.

Stunning, simply stunning.

Jason Roberts, Laurent Koscielny's own goal, Mikele Leigertwood and Noel Hunt gave the home side an incredible advantage early on.

EPL: Arsenal vs QPR: 1-0

By Richard Clarke

Mikel Arteta scored six minutes from time as Arsenal ended a tough week with a welcome 1-0 win against QPR at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Arsène Wenger’s side needed a lift after defeats to Norwich and Schalke so, in the circumstances, this will do just fine.

EPL: West Ham United vs Arsenal 1-3

By Richard Clarke

Arsenal came from behind to secure a barnstorming 3-1 win at West Ham on Saturday evening.

Olivier Giroud was crucial in the revival. After Mohamed Diame had fired the hosts in front, it was the Frenchman who touched home Lukas Podolski's cross just before half-time.

Cowabunga: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 3D Street Art

This is some 3D Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle street art painted in London (although you can tell it's just a mat) to promote the new CG Ninja Turtles show debuting on Nickelodeon this weekend. Will I be watching? Yes. Will I be swinging nunchucks and jumpkicking my furniture and all around being a spaz? You better believe it. I'm gonna be so f***ing high on sugary cereal the neighbors will probably call the police.

Bounty Hunting In Style: Boba Fett Themed Motorcycle

This is Redditor Tattoodle's Boba Fett themed BMW motorcycle. Personally I feel like Boba would be more of a Triumph rider, but what do I know? I'm just a dillweed who spends way too much time thinking about shit that doesn't matter. How many jellybeans could fit inside a motorcycle helmet? I dunno, LET ME THINK ABOUT IT FOR AN HOUR.

Hit the jump for a bunch of closeups and a bonus shot of the dude's wife posing with handguns that he posted to prove he's not a sexless Star Wars loving virgin.

What, No Johnny Five?: Poster Of Famous Robots

This is a poster of famous robots created by artist Daniel Nyari (links to his website which links to his Society 6 shop in case you want to buy a print). He didn't create the robots, just the poster. God created the robots. No, no he didn't. Humans created the robots, and they're going to kill us all. Remember that one movie where everybody dies in the end? It's gonna be exactly like that. But bloodier.

Thanks to chichi, who acknowledges that I alone am humanity's last hope against the robots but will probably drink the Kool-Aid at the first sign of danger.

Going Nowhere Slow: A Treadmill For Rock-Climbing

This is Brewer Ledge Inc's Treadwall. It's a vertical treadmill for rock-climbing. You can adjust the speed, as well as the angle of the wall from +5 to -20 degrees so you can even climb hanging upside down. I really hope my gym gets one, but mostly just to sneak in at night and remove a section of the grips so the next person to climb it comes to a blank spot on the wall and falls off. Hopefully at high-speed. Oh man, I'm gonna laugh so hard I fall off my StairMaster! "Your what?" MY BENCH PRESS -- I meant my bench press.

Thanks to PYY, who doesn't climb anything except out of bed in the morning and even that's sometimes too much. RIGHT?!

You've Gotta Be F***ing Kidding Me: New Ninja Turtles Cartoon Replaces 'Cowabunga' With 'Booyakasha' :(

In stupid idiot news, the Nickelodeon reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has decided to replace the turtles' traditional "cowabunga" with the much dumber "booyakasha". Dammit, I told myself I wasn't going to drink today either. Now look at me! "Tongue kissing a bottle of rye whiskey." YEP. Pure sadness:

Says producer Ciro Neili:

There was a lot of talk about what the new 'cowabunga' was, or whether it should even remain 'cowabunga.' We hadn't initially come up with anything yet because we didn't really necessarily need it [at the time].

But then when we were at the record, one of the actors -- Greg Cipes, who actually plays Michelangelo -- just kind of went for it. When he said it in the room, there were a lot of executives there. I think it was our first record. And it was that moment when he said it -- I think he just really pulled it off and kind of won everybody over in the room. And it stuck.

The Fifteen Most Coffee-Consuming Occupations

This is an informational graphic depicting the fifteen most coffee drinking occupations. Did yours make the list? Mine didn't. "Writer/editor is number four, dummy." Oh I'm sorry, I was looking for HERO. I have no clue if this is even accurate though because there are zero numbers and the source is a Dunkin Donuts survey and Dunkin Donuts IS DUMB AS LOW FAT DONUT HOLES for not having a franchise anywhere near me. In related news, guess which profession drinks the most alcohol? "Geekologie Writer." Ding ding ding! My average consumption is like, 4,000% higher than second place.

Story Of The Dinosaurs Dying Told In Falling Dominoes

This is a massive domino maze depicting the fall of the dinosaurs as told by domino-lover Flippycat (of Starry Night, Nintendo, laser and wall-themed domino maze fame). It took almost 39 hours of setup over two weeks to complete the scenes and less than a minute and a half to knock them all down. One thing is for certain though: no matter how it's told, the story of the dinosaurs dying is always sad. I just cried. HARD. So hard I'm blowing snot bubbles. No, no I'm not. I am blowing bubbles in my chocolate milk though. "What are you, six?" In good looks? I'm probably closer to a four.

Hit the jump for the video. All the action is in the first 1:30, the rest is time-lapse of him setting up all the scenes.

CL: Arsenal vs Olympiacos 3-1

By Richard Clarke at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal took a major step towards qualification from Champions League Group B with a hard-fought 3-1 win over Olympiacos at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.

With Arsène Wenger serving his suspension in the stands once again, Steve Bould’s side struggled for real cohesion throughout but they certainly did enough to edge a tight encounter.
