Do Want: Official Bear Grylls Survival Knife

British outdoorsman Bear Grylls had a fancy knife before, but it was really, really expensive. What if you didn't want to spend $700 to stab something? A solution presents itself. A $60 consumer-grade survival knife.

The knife has a serrated blade, a rubber grip, a stainless steel pommel (for hammering or knife-whipping someone), and an emergency whistle. The sheath has a fire starter, "land to air rescue instructions" and a diamond sharpener. There's a pocket guide on survival in case that land to air rescue doesn't work out.

It's also very useful that the Gerber Bear Grylls knife has his signature on it—this way when you stab an actual bear in a fight, it'll be like some sort of namesake-killing-synergy situation. I'm not sure what happens, exactly, but you'll probably still poop your pants.

Blackburn Rovers vs Arsenal, Arsenal Supporters Brunei gathering @Mynest Cafe

Arsenal played their 2nd away game from home and this time it's against the ambitious Blackburn Rovers. The gunners took the lead through Theo Walcott and his goal was erased by an un-marked Diouf who tapped in easily from a low cross. It was 1-1 at halftime.

In the 2nd half the Andrei Arshavin puts his name on the scoresheet thus giving the gunners a well earned victory. Blackburn Rovers were desperate to get an equaliser but the Arsenal defence were to thick to break.

The Arsenal Brunei Supporters Club (ABSC) held their second gathering for this season and witness the gunners go for glory...gunners4life!!

EPL: Blackburn 1-2 Arsenal

Theo Walcott and Andrei Arshavin were on target as Arsenal battled to a 2-1 win over Blackburn at Ewood Park.

Walcott fired a stunning 19th minute opener as the Gunners worked hard for the points. He was sent scampering clear down the right flank by a fine ball from Robin van Persie before cutting inside and ramming a low shot past Paul Robinson.

Rovers made life hard for Arsene Wenger's men and Mame Diouf's 26th-minute equaliser was the least they deserved before Arshavin won it for the visitors in the 51st minute.

Wenger never relishes his trips to Ewood Park and the driving east Lancashire rain approaching kick-off time threatened to make his latest return an unwelcome one.

Rovers started positively, with Morten Gamst Pedersen's long throw causing Manuel Almunia to enter the action early to pluck the ball off the head of Christopher Samba.

The Gunners came close to an opener in the third minute when Abou Diaby's shot in a crowded box took a heavy deflection off Vince Grella and rather fortuitously struck goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

But Rovers set about peppering the Arsenal box with high balls and their tactic nearly paid off in the ninth minute when Ryan Nelsen's header was headed off the line by Cesc Fabregas.

In a promising opening spell Fabregas then split the Rovers defence with a through-ball towards Walcott, only for Samba to get in with a superb saving challenge.

El-Hadji Diouf failed to pick out namesake Mame in acres of space in a Rovers counter-attack then in the 15th minute Samba headed just over from another Pedersen corner.

Walcott's 19th minute strike was so powerful it required lengthy half-time repairs to the net - but when Arsenal threatened to go on and win at a canter it was the home side who struck back.

Samba set off a swift counter-attack which sent El-Hadji Diouf tearing down the left where he cut inside the hapless Laurent Koscielny and squared for Mame Diouf to sweep home.

Wenger was forced to make his first change in the 34th minute when Van Persie hobbled off with an apparent knee injury and was replaced by Marouane Chamakh.

Confidence continued to bleed back into Blackburn after the break and Pedersen was not too far away with an audacious long-range effort in the 50th minute.

But the Gunners went back ahead one minute later when a Fabregas effort in the box was blocked only to squirt clear to Arshavin, who poked past the advancing Robinson.

Nikola Kalinic blazed a left-foot shot over the bar before Allardyce made his first change introducing Dunn in a bid to add some creativity to his midfield.

However, as the game wore on, Wenger's men looked increasingly to be finding their rhythm and Nelsen and Samba were working overtime to repel Arshavin and Chamakh.

But it was Walcott who always looked the biggest threat and the young striker came close to a second on 75 minutes when he lofted a long-range effort inches over the bar.

Walcott thought he had knocked home the Gunners' third at the other end only to be deemed inches offside, then substitute Jack Wilshere missed a sitter in injury time.

Wenger: We had to overcome nerves

Arsene Wenger said his side had to shrug off an attack of nerves to win the match.

Wenger's dislike of the home side's qualities are well known and he insisted his side had approached the game with concerns after a bruising battle in the equivalent fixture last season.

Wenger said: "We had a good start but in my opinion we were too nervous dealing with the game of Blackburn. Who would not be unsettled by the kind of game Blackburn gave us today? Last year we had bad memories here and because we knew they would play the kind of game we don't like we had not enough confidence to deal with that.

"In the second half I felt we were calmer. We put the ball well on the ground and controlled it better and it was just a question of time. We had the right resilience and commitment."

And Wenger is adamant the way his side shrugged off those nerves to take the points sent a strong signal that they will not be found wanting in the title chase this season.

"If you have ambition in this league you have got to win at Blackburn," Wenger added. "If you fail to win at Blackburn - if you go to clubs like that and you don't win - your ambition will not be respected by the other teams so it was an important test for us. The players are committed and we had that little bit more experience today, even if on just one or two occasions we were a bit lucky."

Theo Walcott admitted he is benefiting from a relaxing summer after continuing his recent good form against Blackburn. The England hopeful was disappointed to miss the World Cup, but he impressed in front of Fabio Capello at Ewood Park.

"I've had a good think in the summer - I didn't blame anyone else for not being at the World Cup but didn't read too much into it because I had a nice break, I've not had one for a long time," he said after the game.

"Now I just want to get playing and show people what I can do. It's for me to push on and get on the goal sheet a bit more often.''

One negative aspect of the afternoon for Arsenal was the late ankle injury suffered by Robin van Persie, which Wenger believes will keep the Dutchman out for at least ten days.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce bemoaned his side's failure to make the most of their chances which cost them after Mame Diouf's goal had brought them back into the match.

"I'm disappointed we didn't get something out of the game and from my point of view the first half was our opportunity to get our noses in front," Allardyce said. "Because we didn't take those opportunities we paid the price for that. At some stage Arsenal were going to take control of the game. You switch off for a split second and they are very, very good at punishing you.

"The pass and Walcott's finish were top quality and while we might try and criticise our defenders it's very difficult to stop that sort of quality of football."

But Allardyce is the first to admit his side need to turn performances into points after two successive league defeats to follow the opening-day win over Everton.

Allardyce added: "We played to our maximum as a team, which you've got to be reasonably satisfied with, but the game is about results and we've lost two games on the trot.

"It's put us in a difficult position in terms of points on the board. While our performances over the three games have been very good, we've only got three points and that's the danger."

Sebastian Squllaci signs for Arsenal

Arsenal Football Club today made its third signing of the summer, as French international defender, Sebastien Squillaci joins the north London club from Sevilla, on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee.

Part of the France 2010 World Cup squad, Squillaci (30) is a tall, strong and vastly experienced central defender who has made 36 appearances in the Champions League, Europe's premier club competition, as well as tallying 21 caps for his country.

Prior to his time in Spain, Squillaci enjoyed a successful spell in France with Lyon by winning back-to-back Ligue 1 titles in 2007 and 2008. The combative defender was also part of AS Monaco's impressive Champions League campaign in 2004, helping the side reach the Final by beating Real Madrid and Chelsea en route.

Sebastien Squillaci said on his arrival at Arsenal: "This is an exciting move for me. Arsène Wenger is a highly respected coach who I am very much looking forward to working with and of course, I know some of the Arsenal players through the national team. Arsenal is recognised as a side that not only plays beautiful football but one that challenges for trophies at the highest level and I am very excited to be joining such a fantastic club."

Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger added: "Sebastien has many qualities that will add to the strength of our squad. He is quick, hugely experienced with an aggressive edge to his game. His signing will give us some variation at the back as we look to build on last season's campaign and fight for silverware this year."

Squillaci will wear the number 18.

EPL: Arsenal 6-0 Blackpool

Theo Walcott plundered the first hat-trick of his Arsenal career as Blackpool were put to the sword at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The 21-year-old gave Arsène Wenger's side the lead with a cool finish after 12 minutes, scored on the turn just before the break and completed his treble with a precise cross-shot on the hour.

Before this game, Walcott had mustered 18 goals in 75 Arsenal starts and 62 appearances as a sub. He remained mainly a winger though, like his hero Thierry Henry, Wenger had always harboured hopes of making him a free-scoring central striker.

This afternoon certainly suggests the manager is on to something.

Blackpool will argue they were competitive until Andrey Arshavin scored Arsenal's second with a penalty in the 31st minute. Ian Evatt's ‘last-man' foul on Chamakh meant a red card was inevitable however it was unclear whether the challenge had started outside the area.

Walcott goals sandwiched Abou Diaby's 49th minute effort. With the game won, Wenger brought on Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie. For the captain, it was his first run-out of the campaign. Marouane Chamakh opened his Arsenal account with a header seven minutes from time.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway had said he feared being "absolutely embarrassed" in this game. Despite the scoreline, that did not really happen today. Many Premier League teams would have suffered at the hands of Arsenal and Walcott this afternoon.

However they were handed out the harshest of top-flight lessons. But then neither side can base any early-season predictions on this afternoon's result. You have to think their ambitions lie at different ends of the table.

And Arsenal's are certainly at the very, very top.

There was an overwhelming sense of ‘newness' before the game. Ten minutes before kick-off, a replica of the Highbury clock was unveiled at the south end of Emirates Stadium. That stand would be now known as the Clock End. The opposite stand was, quite rightly, to be called the North Bank. The East and West Stands were back too.

OK, these were old names from an old ground but they were new to Emirates. And, of course, for the new Premier League season, Arsenal were facing new opponents in newly-promoted Blackpool.

Wenger made three changes from the 1-1 draw at Liverpool last Sunday. Laurent Koscielny (suspended), Samir Nasri (knee) and Eboue were replaced by Alex Song, Tomas Rosicky and Walcott. Fabregas, Johan Djourou and Van Persie were all on the bench.

Blackpool had been billed as "dangerous" but Wenger in the pre-match build-up. Certainly, their fans added more than a dash of colour to Emirates this afternoon and, on the back of their opening day display, they were not in London just for a day out.

However, though David Vaughan stung the hands of Manuel Almunia in the opening stages, things would go wrong very quickly.

As soon as Walcott gave Arsenal the lead in the 12th minute, the home side never looked back. Chamakh collected the ball on the left and flicked the ball inside to Arshavin. The little Russian exchanged passes with Rosicky as he traversed the pitch before spoon-feeding a pass to Walcott on the right of the area. The England winger placed a precise side-foot shot beyond Matt Gilks and into the far corner.

However Blackpool seemed unfazed and should have drawn level a couple of minutes later.

Stephen Crainey curled a cross to the far post and Gary Taylor-Fletcher bundled a header just wide.

However, it turned out to be a token gesture as Arsenal took over for the remainder of the half.

In the following 15 minutes, Walcott fired a free-kick just over, Chamakh sent a delicate header wide and Arshavin's powerful half-volley forced Gilks to gymnastically bat the ball aside.

Walcott had provided a raking cross-field pass for that effort. The youngster was fast becoming the stand-out performer of the first half.

In the 24th minute, he slipped his marker in midfield and freed Chamakh. The Moroccan had time and took it all but he still slotted his shot inches wide. Just before the half-hour, Walcott darted through and blazed an effort high over the bar.

Blackpool's resistance was being tested and, in the 31st minute, they buckled. Rosicky threaded a throughball beyond Evatt for Chamakh to race on to. The Blackpool defender definitely brought down the Arsenal striker and deserved his red card. The debate was over whether Evatt's first touch was outside the area. Referee Mike Jones decided it was inside and Arshavin's penalty was expert.

Rollercoasters and Blackpool are synonymous. After the high of that opening day victory at Wigan last weekend, Holloway's side were most certainly on a downslope.

Chamakh should have made it 3-0 in the following minutes but Gilks saved from point-blank range. Six minutes from the break, Wilshere crossed low into the area and Walcott swivelled past Dekel Keinan, a defensive reinforcement from the bench, before firing home.

It was all too easy for Arsenal.

Chamakh nearly turned in Gael Clichy's cross at the near post just before the whistle. Rosicky's follow up was blocked and, from the corner, Diaby's effort was charged down.

At half-time, such was the gap between the two sides, there was a pervasive feeling that Holloway's pre-match premonitions might just come true.

That only intensified four minutes after the restart when Sagna roared down the right and Diaby swept the ball home from close range.

Seven minutes later, the goalscorer turned provider as Walcott waltzed into the area and completed his hat-trick with a low shot into the far corner.

While the Blackpool fans were commendably singing on, the game was turning into one big Arsenal party.

Seconds after the unmarked Chamakh somehow turned Arshavin's cross over the bar from five yards out, Wenger brought on Fabregas and Van Persie to wild applause.

Walcott got a similar reaction was he was substituted for Carlos Vela a few minutes later.

To be frank, there was no bite in the final quarter of the game. Vela tricked his way through half of the Blackpool defence before seeing a shot blocked.

Seven minutes from time, Chamakh opened his Arsenal account by nodding home right-wing cross from Van Persie and, in injury time, Wilshere fluffed a clear chance for a seventh.

The hat-trick hero came on to the pitch at full time to grab the match ball from the referee. The Arsenal fans sang his name loudly as he trotted off clutching it.

EPL: Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal

Jose Reina scored a bizarre last-minute own goal as Arsenal nicked a 1-1 draw against 10-man Liverpool in the Premier League opener at Anfield.

Reina carried the ball into his own net after after Tomas Rosicky's cross had been bundled on to the post by Marouane Chamakh.

The goal was reward for a late spell of Arsenal pressure but it was harsh on Liverpool, who had Joe Cole sent off just before half-time yet took the lead just after it through David Ngog.

Cole was dismissed on his league debut for a challenge on Arsenal debutant Laurent Koscielny that was clumsy but not malicious.

Koscielny himself also received a red card, but not until moments before the final whistle when he earned a second booking for handball.

The equaliser denied Liverpool what would have been only their fourth victory over the Gunners in their last 19 league meetings, but they will take heart from the performance.

Javier Mascherano was hugely impressive in midfield and Roy Hodgson has clearly stamped his mark on the defence, who looked solid throughout and rarely looked like conceding.

Fernando Torres was left in reserve, and later entered to a huge ovation after pledging his future to the club and recovering from a groin injury, but Arsenal missed two of their bigger stars more.

Cesc Fabregas and Robin van Persie were both said to be lacking match-fitness and while the latter made a late appearance, Fabregas was not even in the squad.

Thomas Vermaelen tested Reina early on with a fierce free-kick but aside from that, the first half was almost devoid of action until the closing moments.

Dirk Kuyt created Liverpool's first opportunity when he turned in the box but Manuel Almunia easily gathered his cross.

New signing Milan Jovanovic cut through the Arsenal midfield with a determined run but Kuyt's final ball again found Almunia.

Arsenal's Samir Nasri had another long-range free-kick blocked and Vermaelen put the rebound wide.

Gael Clichy had Arsenal's first serious chance from open play when he broke clear down the left after 30 minutes and fired a shot narrowly over from outside the box.

Liverpool thought an opportunity was opening up soon after when Almunia failed to claim a corner but referee Martin Atkinson spotted a foul by Daniel Agger on Vermaelen.

The action on the field was tight with neither side giving much away but Arsenal were almost caught when Jovanovic raced onto a long ball.

With Cole walking back from an offside position, the Arsenal defence let the ball bounce and the Serbia international darted into the box, only to blast wide.

The game tsuddenly came alive in the closing minute of the first half.

First Glen Johnson had a shot tipped over by Almunia and Ngog had a header cleared off the line from the resulting corner.

The complexion of the game then changed completely in injury time as Cole was sent off for his lunge at Koscielny.

Koscielny returned to the dressing room on a stretcher at the interval but ran out to start the second period as normal.

He was greeted by boos from Liverpool fans but replays of the tackle suggested that, although the initial decision may have seemed harsh, the law had been applied correctly.

Liverpool seemed determined not to let their numerical disadvantage bother them and made a blistering start to the second half.

They claimed the lead within two minutes of the restart as Mascherano threaded a ball into the box for Ngog and the Frenchman finished unerringly home at the near post.

It was his fourth goal of the season after three in Liverpool's first Europa League qualifying tie.

Not content with that, the Reds pushed forward again and Martin Skrtel headed wide from a dangerous Steven Gerrard free-kick.

Ngog had an even better chance when he leapt to reach another Gerrard set-piece but could not direct his header on target.

Kuyt created another fine chance after good work on the right but no-one could turn in his ball across goal.

Liverpool were reduced to nine men when Agger left the field for treatment after all three substitutes had been used.

Arsenal stepped up the tempo and Tomas Rosicky showed great control with a slaloming run into the area before seeing his shot touched over by Reina.

Maxi Rodriguez then cleared after a desperate goalmouth scramble.

The pressure eventually told in the last minute as Reina failed to grasp the ball after Chamakh hit the post from Rosicky's cross.

Gerrard almost snatched victory as the game went into five minutes of injury time but Almunia kept out his free-kick.

The game ended on more controversy as Koscielny was dismissed.

Man Legally Changes Name To Buzz Lightyear

A mechanic from West Bromwich, who considers himself to be the world's biggest 'Toy Story' fan, has officially changed his name to Buzz Lightyear.

Such was Steve Bolton's love for the first two movies, he decided to do something special for the launch of ‘Toy Story 3’, so the 26-year-old contacted the UK Deed Poll Service and paid for the name change. Now he can legally have "Buzz Lightyear" on his passport (whether the destination "infinity and beyond" is acknowledged remains to be seen), credit cards etc.

Steve... sorry, Buzz, said about his decision: "I'm a massive fan of ‘Toy Story’, they are my favourite films and I've always thought Buzz would be the ultimate action hero - if he wasn't a toy.

"But it’s a great name, a great film and my girlfriend is going to love telling people she's going out with Buzz Lightyear.

"Her and my mates have told me before that I've got a cheesy grin and chin like Buzz, so perhaps it's a fitting name change.

"I hope kids will ask me for my autograph. It's going to feel great signing my name Buzz Lightyear and introducing myself to people at parties."

A spokesperson for the UK Deed Poll Service said: "Steve seems to be a dedicated fan and we were more than happy to help him out with his name change.

"It is an unusual one and we hope it brings him a lot of fun and luck in life."

Buzz is not the first film fanatic to change his name to a movie character. A 'Twilight'-obsessed couple from north Wales changed their names by deed poll from Bev and Steve Hart to Bella and Edward Cullen, after the movies' romantic leads, while Skegness-based charity worker Stephen O'Rourke changed his name to John Rambo after watching the Sylvester Stallone movies.

Die, Zombies!: A Rocket-Propelled Chainsaw

It’s the greatest weapon possibly ever conceived, the RPC, or Rocket Propelled Chainsaw. Yes, it is EXACTLY what it sounds like, and provided you have an unlimited amount of chainsaws, you’ll be the zombie killing champion of the post-apocalyptic world.

I’m frankly surprised such a device hasn’t shown up in a game or a movie yet, but there’s still hope for Dead Rising 3, which literally attaches chainsaws to everything you could possibly imagine. I’m pretty sure the protagonist of that game will literally have chainsaws for arms, legs and a head, with a secret compartment in his chest…for another chainsaw.

The photo above shows a 33 feet tall Optimus Prime statue which was constructed completely out of junk car parts spotted at the Bird’s Nest at Beijing Olympic Park in China. The movie’s Optimus Prime is 32 feet tall and made of 10,108 parts. So this is in fact “life size.”

Wife Has Custom USB Wedding Ring Made For Microsoft Game Developing Husband

The wife-to-be of a Microsoft game developer bought the love of her life a custom-made USB wedding ring to celebrate his geeky tendencies, even though she doesn’t share them.

The gold ring isn’t actually a functional USB drive, but its design is reminiscent of one. The interior is engraved with the words, “For a lifetime of memories,” an allusion to the USB’s storage capabilities. Aww!

According to Kotaku, the groom is Microsoft Game Studios Software Development Engineer Ray Arifianto; it’s hard to imagine a geekier job than that. Arifianto is reportedly thrilled with the ring.

Some folks might not think of marriage traditions as the best venue for celebrating geekiness, but it’s not at all unprecedented. One couple sent out an 8-bit video game that functioned as an interactive wedding invitation. Then there’s the iPhone wedding cake, the ultimate example of Apple fanaticism. And don’t forget the groom who changed his Facebook relationship status at the altar.
