Memories: Kurt Cobain Plays With A Kitty

For all you NIRVANA lovers out there, I've got the feeling this photo is at LEAST 15 years late, but -- Has it already been 15 years? Feels like it was just yesterday.

Crazy (And Expensive) Star Wars Hats

Looking for a crazy Star Wars hat to accentuate that lovely mug of yours? Well you're in luck, because Japanese hat manufacturer New Era just dropped a line of dome-pieces fresher than really f***ing green bananas.

What makes New Era's Star Wars caps so unique is the fact that each appears to be a separate work of art -- the cap itself exhibits stunning wrap-around graphics and is made from a variety of materials, and the underside of the bill showcases imagery related to the cap's overall theme, be it R2-D2, Yoda, Chewbacca, or Boba Fett.

If you've got a friend living in Japan, now might be the time to call in that favor, or drop some heavy-handed hints for the holidays. Be prepared, though -- these babies don't come cheap. Ranging in price from ¥6,090 ($69) to ¥9,240 ($105), you'll be wearing quite a bounty on your head.

Very Clever: A Peek Inside Mario's Closet

This is what Mario's closet looks like as envisioned by artist Glen Brogan.
I have a new T-shirt design up for voting at Splitreason. This one started out as a simple idea and turned into something a little more complex. When my designs go up for voting I always get the inevitable complaints (you just can't make everybody happy) but I sort of feel like I'm throwing myself to the wolves with this one.
The reason being that I had to come up with rules for what I should and shouldn't include as part of Mario's wardrobe. I wanted to include as many of his power-ups as possible, but the main rule I had to follow was that I couldn't include things that actually transform Mario himself rather that just changing his wardrobe, like the Boo mushroom from Mario Galaxy that turns him into a ghost.

BPL: Arsenal 3-0 Hull City

Arsenal moved back into third place in the Premier League with a comfortable 3-0 win over relegation-threatened Hull at the Emirates Stadium.

Goals from Denilson, Eduardo and Abou Diaby earned Arsene Wenger's side all three points in a bad-tempered affair.

But the Gunners also had to give credit to goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, who saved a penalty from Geovanni when the home side led 1-0.

Hull, who beat Arsenal at the Emirates last season, had the first opportunity within the opening minute.

Craig Fagan's 20-yard shot was just off target but Hull were clearly in the mood for a battle.

Moments later Almunia had to deal with a free-kick by Stephen Hunt as the City midfielder looked to surprise the Arsenal goalkeeper at the near post.

The home side were clearly missing the midfield artistry of the injured Cesc Fabregas but Samir Nasri should have put them ahead in the 15th minute but shot tamely at Myhill.

Hull had enjoyed much of the possession in the early skirmishes but they had little reward in attack.

Arsenal finally shook off their lethargy in the 23rd minute when Eduardo tried to curl the ball beyond Myhill and into the corner of the net. But the Arsenal striker's effort was a yard wide of the target.

Wenger's side, without a string of first-choice players, found it difficult to break down stubborn Hull, who gave their hosts little time to settle on the ball.

A cross from Hunt in the 39th minute almost reached Fagan but Almunia collected the ball before the City striker could pounce.

Arsenal had found little rhythm in their play and Myhill, apart from a couple of long shots, had been relatively untroubled.

But the contest erupted shortly before the break when Nasri trod on the ankle of Richard Garcia as Arsenal prepared to take a free-kick.

Hunt then clashed with Nasri and a mass confrontation took place in front of referee Steve Bennett with Arsenal goalkeeper Almunia sprinting 100 yards to get involved.

Fagan tried to drag Hunt away from the incident as players from both sides became embroiled in ugly scenes. Bennett eventually booked both Hunt and Nasri when the fracas subsided.

Arsenal rubbed salt into Hull's wounds seconds later when Denilson scored from a free-kick after George Boateng had fouled Diaby 25-yards from goal.

Players from both sides appeared to continue their first-half spat in the tunnel as they left the pitch at the interval.

There was already plenty of bad blood between the two clubs stemming from last season when Fabregas was accused of spitting at City's assistant Brian Horton.

Hull replaced Nick Barmby at half-time with Seyi Olofinjana but nearly went two behind straight after the re-start.

Eduardo worked an opening for himself from Andrey Arshavin's pass, but the Croatia striker put his shot wide with just Myhill to beat.

There was more controversy in the 55th minute when referee Bennett awarded Hull a penalty after Mikael Silvestre had been adjudged to have pulled the shirt of Fagan.

But Almunia saved a poor Geovanni spot-kick and then Hunt headed the rebound wide of the target.

Worse was to come for Phil Brown's side in the 59th minute when Diaby broke into the penalty area and pulled the ball back for Eduardo to tap home.

Arsenal wrapped up the points in the 80th minute when Diaby played a one-two with Arshavin and fired past Myhill.

Hunt almost scored a consolation goal for the visitors with three minutes remaining but Almunia saved his volley.

The Arsenal goalkeeper's clearance then put substitute Theo Walcott in the clear at the opposite end but the England youngster put his lob just wide

Since we envy STARWARS (Although i seemed to have miss some of the movies).

It may not be much to some people, but for me it was the coolest thing ever!.

He got me a "YODA LIGHT SABER LED FLASHLIGHT"

It's Awesome!

The famous Light Saber from Star Wars has become a LED Light Flashlight with a carabiner! It can be attached to anything you want, such as your keys and your belt! Feel like a Jedi by carrying this miniature Lightsaber LED Flashlight Carabiner!.

If you are familiar with Star Wars, it is no secret how significant Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Yoda really are! Each Lightsaber LED Flashlight is made exactly like the ones from the movie! To prove how realistic they are made, the Yoda Flashlight is made slightly shorter than the others! It's a must-get item for any Star Wars fan!

Each flashlight comes with a clear acrylic saber, which can be attached to the flashlight itself! Once you attach them together, they look exactly like the lightsaber you saw in the theatres! Since they are made by EFX, you do not need to worry about the quality and the realness of these flashlights!.

Thanks Bro ;D

BPL: Burnley 1-1 Arsenal

Graham Alexander levelled from the penalty spot as Burnley frustrated Arsenal to draw 1-1 in their Premier League home clash on Wednesday.

Cesc Fabregas struck early as Arsenal started superbly at Turf Moor but Thomas Vermaelen's foul on the outstanding Andre Bikey allowed Alexander to equalise.

Both sides hit the woodwork - Burnley twice and Arsenal once - and enjoyed a glut of other chances but neither could find a winner.

It was another superb home performance by Owen Coyle's Burnley, who have now claimed 18 of their 19 points this season at their own ground. The result was a blow for Arsenal after Sunday's uplifting win at Liverpool and the loss of Fabregas before half-time might also be a concern.

Burnley had hoped to evoke the spirit of last season's famous Carling Cup win over the Gunners by recalling their two-goal hero from that night, Kevin McDonald.

Fabregas was included for Arsenal despite concern over a back injury and there seemed little problem as he ran the game for most of the opening 25 minutes.

Before he could get into his stride, however, Burnley went within the width of the crossbar from claiming a remarkable opener through Vermaelen, who had a mixed night.

The influential Chris Eagles floated a second-minute free-kick into the area and Clarke Carlisle's header was deflected goalwards as Vermaelen mistakenly headed backwards over Manuel Almunia.

The Spanish keeper was forced to scramble back and just managed to palm the ball onto the woodwork before his defence cleared.

Arsenal made the most of the reprieve and went ahead after seven minutes thanks to the persistence and class of Fabregas.

Samir Nasri retrieved an attack after Carlisle had headed away a Theo Walcott cross.

The ball then made its way to Fabregas on the edge of the area and neither McDonald nor Carlisle, despite several attempts, could get it off him as he weaved through and fired into the bottom corner.

Arsenal then turned up the heat and Fabregas almost had a second moments later as he flicked over Carlisle and fired just wide.

A strong run by Nasri could have created another shooting chance but Steven Caldwell's challenge was deemed just about legal.

Andrey Arshavin then struck the foot of the post with a fierce left-footed drive from 18 yards.

When Bakari Sagna fired over from long distance Arsenal were threatening to run riot but Burnley weathered the storm.

Top scorer Steven Fletcher headed over from a corner and was then caught only marginally offside in forcing Almunia to make a difficult save.

The Clarets then stung the visitors by levelling with 28 minutes gone.

Bikey showed great skill in the area but was felled by a late Vermaelen lunge after a clever flick.
Alexander then stepped up to fire home the 100th league goal of his career.

Arsenal were stung into a response and a fine ball from Fabregas was seized on by Arshavin only for Brian Jensen to save well at the Russian's feet.

It was developing into a compelling encounter and Burnley came back to force William Gallas to clear twice from dangerous Fletcher and Wade Elliott crosses.

Arsenal suffered a serious blow as Fabregas was forced off two minutes before the interval but almost reclaimed the lead as Vermaelen met a Nasri cross with a powerful header and Jensen saved.

After the high-tempo end to the first half, the opening to the second was rather subdued.

Arsenal pieced a good move together to shift the ball from left to right but Walcott, having been frustrated by Stephen Jordan throughout, blazed over.

Burnley burst back into life on the hour as Eagles beat Mikael Silvestre and Nasri on a powerful run and then blasted against the post.

Fletcher then controlled a Bikey cross but shot over on the turn and had the ball in the net after 68 minutes only to be flagged offside.

Almunia, having missed McDonald's low cross, was no doubt relieved.

Arsenal fashioned two openings for substitute Eduardo soon after his introduction for Walcott, but the Croatian failed to get in a shot.

Eagles then fired narrowly over and Eduardo had a free-kick comfortably saved by Jensen as both sides pushed to the end.

The theft did not stop the show going ahead. Everything went on as usual," said Ms Arroyo.
She said the stolen robot was the least expensive from the show - some measure up to 13m and cost up to 1m Australian dollars.

BPL: Liverpool 1 - 2 Arsenal

Andrey Arshavin stunned Anfield for the second season running as Arsenal recorded a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday.

The Russian, who scored four times on the same ground towards the back end of last season, rifled in an unstoppable winner on 58 minutes after a Glen Johnson own goal (50) had cancelled out Dirk Kuyt's first-half opener (41) for the Reds in Sunday's Premier League meeting.

After an even start, it was Liverpool who carved open the first opening when a quick break saw Steven Gerrard set up Fernando Torres, but the Spaniard's shot lacked enough power to trouble Manuel Almunia.

Moments later, Gerrard went tumbling under a William Gallas tackle in the box, but referee Howard Webb waved away the penalty claims.

Liverpool continued to press and Torres' tumble in the area - again with Gallas in close attendance - posed another penalty shout, though again Webb allowed play to continue.

The Gunners finally had their first effort on goal after 33 minutes with Alex Song dragging a shot comfortably wide of goal.

But it was Liverpool who were celebrating on 41 minutes when Fabio Aurelio's free-kick into the box was not dealt with properly by Almunia and Kuyt controlled the ball on his chest before guiding his shot through a crowd of players from 12 yards.

The Gunners made a bright start to the second half, with Cesc Fabregas finally having their first effort on target, but his low shot was easily gathered by Pepe Reina.

But the visitors were back on level terms after 50 minutes when Samir Nasri's right-wing cross took a deflection off Jamie Carragher and caught out the retreating Johnson, the Reds full-back unable to sort out his feet in time to prevent tapping through his own goal from six yards.

And just eight minutes later, the Gunners were celebrating again when Arshavin showed good control in the area before drilling an unstoppable shot past Reina from 18 yards which flew into the net via the post.

The Reds did their best to get back into the game, but the Gunners' defence comfortably held firm to help them move up to third and just six points behind leaders Chelsea with a match in hand. Liverpool remain seventh.

Pengertian "Sloppy Joe"

A sloppy joe is an American dish of ground beef onions, sweetened tomato sauce or ketchup and other seasonings, served on a hamburger bun.Commercially made sauces such as Manwich are also available. Textured vegetable protein may be used as a vegetarian substitute for the meat.

The Original Sloppy Joe Sandwich was invented at Sloppy Joe's Bar in Key West.
The original is still available and consists of ground beef in a sweet rich tomato sauce, with onions, peppers and spices. Hence the sandwich was named for the establishment, not the consistency, as suggested by the Manwich people.

Arsenal gunned down...

Chelsea tightened their grip on top spot and put a massive dent in Arsenal's own title ambitions with a fine 3-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.

The Blues, then under Guus Hiddink, were the last team to beat the Gunners on their own ground, ripping them apart 4-1 here in May.

While this encounter was nowhere near as much a one-sided affair, it still highlighted the gulf between the two sides' ability to produce a big performance when required.

Chelsea - who restored their lead on Manchester United to five points - grabbed a brace at the end of a first half in which Arsene Wenger's men had enjoyed plenty of possession, but without really troubling Petr Cech.

The Gunners were made to pay when Didier Drogba converted Ashley Cole's low centre, and Thomas Vermaelen's own goal effectively killed off the contest before the interval, with the Ivory Coast striker drilling in a late free-kick to seal matters.

There is, of course, plenty more football to be played before they crown the 2010 champions, but even with a match in hand, it is difficult to see Wenger's young squad - without Robin van Persie until at least April - clawing back what is now an 11-point deficit, and indeed they could still face a battle to secure a top-four finish.

Arsenal may have dedicated this afternoon's match to their charity of the season at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, but there was little compassion shown towards former Gunner Ashley Cole, who was resoundingly booed every time he touched the ball.

It had been a bright start from the hosts, with Bacary Sagna's deep cross flicked back into the penalty area by Andrey Arshavin, but Cesc Fabregas was unable to make decent contact.

Eduardo almost robbed England captain John Terry on the edge of the Chelsea box, but Ricardo Carvalho cleared the loose ball.

Chelsea, though, looked dangerous on the break and were somewhat unfortunate to see Drogba's run clear onto a pass from Joe Cole halted by an offside flag.

Nicolas Anelka, whose big break came at Arsenal, then went down in the penalty area as he got ahead of Sagna, but referee Andre Marriner was not interested.

There was a brief stoppage in play when the referee removed an object, which looked like a fake camera, which had been thrown on in the direction of Frank Lampard, the England midfielder fit again following a thigh injury.

Arsenal had plenty of possession, but lacked spark in the final third, with the absence of Dutch forward van Persie painfully clear.

It was no real surprise when Chelsea went ahead on 41 minutes.

Terry played in Ashley Cole down the left, and he whipped a low centre across the six-yard box, where Drogba got in between the static Arsenal centre-backs to steer the ball into the net off the angle of post and bar.

Before Wenger could regroup his team in the dressing room, it was 2-0.

Cole was again the provider, as this time his ball from the left was deflected into the Arsenal net off Vermaelen's shin.

Wenger had to do something to inject fresh life into his shell-shocked side, and it came in the form of England forward Theo Walcott, defensive midfielder Alex Song the man sacrificed.

Arsenal certainly had more urgency following the restart, and thought they had a goal back when Arshavin smashed home from close range - but the effort was ruled out for a high boot from Eduardo on Cech.

Chelsea almost grabbed a fortunate third goal when Drogba's shot deflected off William Gallas and then Lampard, but Manuel Almunia made a quick change in direction and touched the ball around the post.

Arsenal were getting desperate and called for what would have been a harsh penalty as substitute Carlos Vela went down under a challenge from Branislav Ivanovic.

On 71 minutes, Ashley Cole was replaced by Paulo Ferreira, the England defender clenching his fists towards the travelling Chelsea fans as he left the pitch, before heading straight down the tunnel.

Arsenal threatened, but once again lacked a decisive pass at the key moment.

Drogba wrapped things up for Carlo Ancelotti's men when he smashed in a 25-yard free-kick with four minutes left.

Arsenal Top In CL Group H

Arsene Wenger got the response he demanded as Arsenal earned a place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 2-0 win over Standard Liege.

The Gunners boss had called for his side to raise their game at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night in the wake of a lacklustre weekend defeat at Sunderland - and his pre-match rallying call had also included reminding Arsenal's World Cup hopefuls of just who pays their wages.

Even without injured Holland forward Robin van Persie, the Premier League side - who host leaders Chelsea on Sunday - had too much class for the Belgians.

First-half goals from Samir Nasri and Denilson, smashing in a 30-yard strike, set the Gunners on their way to the knockout stages of Europe's elite club competition for the 10th campaign in succession as they won Group H with a match to spare.

The tone had been set from kick-off as Arsenal started brightly with a string of quick-passing moves.

Nasri cut a pass back rather than shoot when played into the right side of the Standard penalty area after five minutes - by which time in Liege, the Gunners were already 2-0 behind.

Arsenal then somehow failed to put the ball in the net during a goalmouth scramble following a corner.

First, Andrey Arshavin's header was saved by Sinan Bolat, with Mexico teenager Carlos Vela, deployed tonight as the central striker, lashing the rebound against the post.

The Standard keeper then twice denied William Gallas' follow-up before Thomas Vermaelen drilled his shot towards the top corner - only for the ball to cannon off Arshavin on the goalline.

Emmanuel Eboue went down under what looked minimal, if any, contact from Eliaquim Mangala, but Austrian referee Konrad Plautz was having none of it.

The travelling Standard fans had seen little to cheer about during the opening 20 minutes, but were almost celebrating when Congo striker Dieudonne Mbokani rattled the angle after cutting inside from the edge of the Arsenal area.

Arsenal were, though, soon back in the ascendancy.

Arshavin headed over, and in the process, collided with Gallas, which left both men needing treatment and Arsenal temporarily down to nine men.

Gallas came back on nursing a cut to his eye, while Arshavin needed some staples to close up a bloody gash on the top of his head.

As the Russian jogged back along the near touchline, Arsenal took the lead on 35 minutes.

Vermaelen's long ball forwards was missed by Landry Mulemo after the defender slipped on the edge of the penalty area, which allowed Nasri in, and he made no mistake, lashing a half-volley past Bolat.

Arshavin almost doubled the lead when his first-time shot from the edge of the box flew only inches wide.

There was, on 39 minutes, an almighty let-off for Arsenal when Gallas clearly bundled over Reginal Goreux as he dashed into the penalty area - but the referee waved play on.

In first-half stoppage time, Denilson - just returning from a back injury - crashed home a second goal from 30 yards, the ball swerving through the air as it flew over Bolat to give the young Brazilian something to remember in his 100th Arsenal appearance.

Gallas was replaced for the second half by veteran Mikael Silvestre, making only his fourth appearance of the season.

Standard midfielder Axel Witsel - who has served a lengthy ban following an X-rated tackle which left Anderlecht's Marcin Wasilewski with a broken leg - collected a quick free-kick on his chest, but, just four yards out, could not guide the ball past Manuel Almunia.

On the hour, Nasri made way as Wenger introduced Theo Walcott, the England forward hoping to keep fit for the rest of the campaign as he targets a place in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad.

Walcott almost had an instant impact when he drove a low shot across goal from a tight angle.

Standard substitute Gohi Bi Cyriac struck the base of the post, before the visitors were reduced to 10 men when Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez pushed his forehead into the face of Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas, who creditably did not go down, and was shown a straight red card.

Arsenal created chances to add a third, through Eboue and Alex Song, but had already done enough to make sure of safe progress ahead of next month's trip to Olympiacos.

BPL: Sunderland 1 - 0 Arsenal

Arsenal suffered their first defeat in 14 games as Darren Bent fired Sunderland to a 1-0 win in the Premier League at the Stadium of Light.

Bent struck 19 minutes from time to seal a tight contest after the Gunners had failed to make the most of the possession they enjoyed.

It might have been different had Marton Fulop not denied Tomas Rosicky with a vital fifth minute save or had referee Alan Wiley pointed to the penalty spot when substitute Carlos Vela went down in the box in injury time.

But the Black Cats battled all the way to the whistle to condemn the visitors to defeat for the first time since September 12.

At the start of the season, Sunderland had not beaten one of the traditional big four clubs since their return to the top flight, but their victory in front of a crowd of 44,918 came after they also beat Liverpool on Wearside on October 17.

The Gunners were without star striker Robin van Persie, the subject of much discussion this week after opting for treatment on his injured ankle which included the use of horse placenta.

His absence, coupled with that of Nicklas Bendtner, left manager Arsene Wenger with few options in attack, although his team-sheet still made for impressive reading.

The Frenchman opted to field Rosicky and Samir Nasri in support of lone frontman Eduardo, and that meant he still had Andrey Arshavin in reserve on the bench.

But opposite number Steve Bruce had problems in central defence with Michael Turner suspended, and Paulo da Silva and John Mensah, back after six games out with a calf problem, found themselves fully extended at times during a tight first half.

Rosicky and Nasri repeatedly linked with Eduardo and skipper Cesc Fabregas, while Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Song kept Lorik Cana and Jordan Henderson occupied in the middle of the field.

The Gunners might have been in front as early as the fifth minute when Fabregas expertly turned Bacary Sagna's deep cross into the path of Rosicky, who forced a good save from Fulop with a well-struck volley.

Fabregas whistled a 13th minute drive just over the bar, but Fulop was a relieved man after Song and Eduardo had combined to carve their way into the penalty area with 32 minutes gone.

The pair exchanged passes on the edge of the box and Song continued his run, only to just fail to get a touch to Eduardo's shot as it ran agonisingly wide of the post.

In the meantime, Sunderland had created two chances of their own, both of them falling to Steed Malbranque from left wing crosses.

The first saw him fire just over from full-back George McCartney's ball in, but he skied the second, with Andy Reid this time the provider, high over the bar.

Arsenal resumed in much the same vein as they took the game to Sunderland, although they were still unable to pierce the Black Cats' defence.

But Sunderland produced a flurry of their own, full-back Armand Traore just managing to cut out Henderson's 52nd minute through-ball to Bent and keeper Manuel Almunia coming from his line to claim possession with Reid putting William Gallas under intense pressure seconds later.

Almunia's goal came under threat once again five minutes later when Reid drilled a long-range free kick just wide, and the Irishman then skied a snapshot high over the bar.

Wenger's response was to replace Ramsey with Arshavin, and Bruce quickly followed suit when he withdrew Malbranque and sent on Fraizer Campbell.

But it was Sunderland's newcomer who made a swift impact with 71 minutes gone, although he did not know a lot about it.

Bent's header from a Reid corner cannoned back off Campbell's legs at the far post and fell perfectly for his strike partner to smash it home before Almunia could get there.

Wenger immediately sent on Theo Walcott and Vela for Rosicky and Eduardo, but it was Arshavin who very nearly came to their rescue with three minutes remaining.

The midfielder got to Song's cross at the far post, but he could only direct his shot into the side-netting.

But the Gunners could not believe they were not awarded an injury time penalty for Campbell's challenge on Vela with referee Alan Wiley waving their appeals away.

Inner City Bike Sports No Chain, Comfort

Because bike chains (and gold chains) are such a hot commodity in the inner city, the Inner City Bike doesn't have one. Or a comfortable seat. Or much practicality. I have to have it!

Bicycling to work may be the way to go for some, but parking could still be an issue. That's why Jruiter Studio has come up with the "Inner City Bike". It boasts an ultra compact design and has no chain to boot.

Handy, Creepy: The Hand-le Door Handle

The Hand-le is a door handle created by Amsterdam designer Naomi Thellier de Poncheville. It reminds me of the dog leash hand and is a slap in the incredibly handsome faces of lefties like myself.

A bit late....Babe Of The Month of November - Olivia Wilde

Olivia Jane Wilde born Olivia Jane Cockburn March 10, 1984 is an American actress. She began acting in the early 2000s, and has since appeared in a number of film and television parts, including roles on the series The O.C. and The Black Donnellys. She currently portrays Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley in the TV drama House.
Wilde was born in New York City on March 10, 1984 as Olivia Jane Cockburn. Her mother, Leslie Cockburn (née Corkhill Redlich), is a 60 Minutes producer and journalist, and her father, Andrew Cockburn, is an Irish journalist, as are her paternal uncles Alexander and Patrick, all of whom are contributors to the political website CounterPunch.org. Her half-aunt was the late writer Sarah Caudwell. Her paternal grandfather was the Irish-born novelist/journalist Claud Cockburn. Wilde has said that as a result of her family background, she has a "strong journalistic streak", being "really critical and analytical".
Both her parents were prominent in the Washington social scene, hosting dinner parties. Her mother once recounted a story of a young Wilde eavesdropping one night on a conversation between Richard Holbrooke and Mick Jagger until Mick noticed her and shooed Olivia to bed.
She has wanted to become an actress since the age of two. For a short time, Olivia's family had a house in Guilford, Vermont, USA. Wilde attended Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C., as well as Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, and subsequently moved to Dublin, Ireland, where she attended The Gaiety School of Acting. She initially began working as a casting assistant.

I'll Be The Prettiest Girl At The Ball And Everyone Will Notice Me!: LED Dress

Just to let this chick know that her LED wedding dress doesn't hold a lumen to a REAL LED dress, somebody went and created the GalaxyDress, which is being touted as the world's biggest LED-covered dress. Yay? Hip hop hooray? Ho -- hey -- ho. I'M NAUGHTY BY NATURE!

The GalaxyDress was constructed using 24,000 LED lights and, to add an extra bit of glitter, another 4,000 Swarovski crystals were included in the silk garment's design.

The dress is currently on display at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry as part of the FastForward: Inventing the Future exhibit.

Glowing Booze!: Electroluminescent Bottles

Ballantine's new "Listen to Your Beat" campaign includes an electroluminescent label with graphic equalizer display. Designed by London-based "The Core," this label is more evidence of a trend towards animated, self-illuminating liquor labels. Similar to these battery-powered T-shirts, audio references seem to occur frequently in youth-oriented liquor packaging. (The J&B bottle above is another example.)

BURN IT DOWN!: The Bender Head House

The Bender House looks like Bender's dome from Futurama. If you've never seen Futurama I'm going to assume you don't have a television or internet so you probably aren't even reading this. Unless they print out copies of Geekologie and distribute them in Africa, which, I think we can all agree, is the best idea you've ever heard.
