Back To The Footwear: Nike DeLorean Dunks

Inspired by the DeLorean DMC-12, Nike 6.0 Introduces the Limited-Edition DeLorean Nike Dunk, a Fusion of Innovation and Style. Influenced by the DMC-12′s aerodynamic design and trademark characteristics, Nike reinterpreted the car’s sleek stainless steel exterior into a matte silver, no-sew constructed upper while also taking cues from the gull-wing doors on the bottom eyestay.

The shoe’s outsole references the Delorean’s tail lights and the DMC-12′s rear window shades reappear as graphic lines on the heel replacing the traditional stitches. Meanwhile, the Belfast stamp on the tongue is a nod to the Irish factory that originally produced the vehicle.

Like the rebellious, rare and flashy DMC-12, the DeLorean Nike Dunk champions the unexpected by making a statement. This super limited-edition shoe will be available starting on November 26th, Black Friday, at Store.Nike.com, Niketown locations, Salvation (Irvine, CA) and select nationwide retailers.

EPL: Aston Villa vs Arsenal 2-4

Arsenal survived a second-half onslaught from Aston Villa to regain - at least temporarily - the leadership of the Barclays Premier League.

The Gunners looked to be cruising to victory after dominating the opening 45 minutes and netting through Andrey Arshavin and Samir Nasri.

But Villa were transformed in the second period and Ciaran Clark struck twice either side of Marouane Chamakh's 10th goal of the campaign before Jack Wilshere's injury-time clincher.

It enabled Arsene Wenger's side to end an unhappy week on a high note after the derby defeat by Tottenham and the Champions League setback away to Braga.

Arsenal played some superb flowing football with Arshavin and Nasri a constant threat.

But their soft under belly, which had seen them throw away a two-goal lead against Spurs, was almost exposed again.

Ashley Young posed more of a threat in the second period while Clark showed his potential.

Arsenal were almost gifted the lead in the opening 30 seconds after sloppy play by Stephen Warnock.

He played the ball straight into the path of Arshavin who released Chamakh inside the box.

Villa keeper Brad Friedel partially blocked the shot but it needed James Collins to make a goal-line clearance.

The Gunners were first to settle and Tomas Rosicky squandered a clearcut opening.

Nasri was the creator with a perfectly weighted pass to leave Rosicky with only Friedel to beat but he drilled his shot across the face of goal.

The Villa midfield was being by-passed by the quality passing and movement of Wenger's side.

Arsenal continued to dominate and Friedel saved from Rosicky away to his right although he did not make full contact on his shot.

Villa were being pulled apart almost at will and Arshavin had a shot deflected for a corner after exchanging passes with Chamakh.

Nasri dragged a shot just past the post as the home side hung on desperately.

It was 26 minutes before Villa created a worthwhile chance - and Ashley Young should have given them the lead.

Stewart Downing's dangerous, inswinging centre found it's way to Young unmarked inside the six yard box at the post but he sent his shot over the bar.

Vill tried to get a foothold in the game and Laurent Koscielny had to be alert to cut out a dangerous cross from the overlapping Warnock after good play by Bannan.

But it was no surprise when Arshavin put the Gunners ahead after 39 minutes.

Arshavin picked the ball up on the left and cut inside and past the challenge of Richard Dunne before firing a low shot into the far corner of the net.

Nasri could have made it 2-0 a minute later when he slipped the ball wide of Friedel but drilled his effort into the side netting.

Friedel made a superb save to keep out Chamakh's header from Bacary Sagna's cross.

But a minute before half-time Nasri made it 2-0 with a superb volley direct from Arshavin 's corner.

Houllier opted for a half-time change with Nathan Delfouneso replacing Robert Pires and giving support up front to John Carew.

After 52 minutes Clark reduced the arrears with his first senior goal for the club.

Bannan's cross was only half cleared by Sebastien Squillaci to Clark on the edge of the box and his left-footed drive flew past Lukasz Fabianski into the roof of the net.

Villa were transformed after their ineffective first half performance but in the 56th minute Chamakh restored Arsenal's two goal advantage.

Rosicky played the ball into the path of the striker who managed to flick the ball under Friedel's body.

Houllier brought on Stephen Ireland for Carew after 66 minutes.

Clark had a golden chance to net a second goal but screwed his shot wide from 10 yards out.

But after 71 minutes the youngster did strike again.

Ashley Young's corner was flicked on by Dunne and Clark forced the ball over the line.

Chamakh was yellow carded for a challenge on Dunne. Friedel denied Chamakh on the edge of the box after being freed by Arshavin.

But the Gunners looked nervy when Villa ventured forward in a tense finish.

Wilshere made it 4-2 from Chamakh's cross in injury-time.

Midfielder Jack Wilshere admitted Arsenal were relieved to run out 4-2 winners at Aston Villa after they had let arch rivals Tottenham come back to win last weekend.

Wilshere told Sky Sports 2: ''I think there's always going to be that (uncertainty) especially after last week. It was a good ball from Chamakh and I'm happy to get my first goal.''

Wilshere praised the way his team-mates had applied themselves this season. He said: ''I think it's down to hard work.''

Arsenal boss Wenger was satisfied to see his side go top, temporarily or otherwise.

''It's a good weekend because we can relax now a bit and look at the other results,'' he said. ''You can only do your job and that's what we did today. It was a strong performance against a Villa side that's dangerous.''

Wenger admitted he was slightly concerned after leading 2-0 at the break and conceding, just a week after being stung by a Tottenham comeback.

''With 2-0 at half-time it happened again, it was quickly back to 2-1, but this time we managed to find the resources to keep scoring goals. At the end of the day overall it was a good game and a good performance from us.''

Villa manager Gerard Houllier admitted his side were always playing catch up after a poor first half performance.

He said: ''We were poor in the first half. Whether it was because we showed them too much respect, or lacked experience, I don't know. We never got started. We were a different team in the second half, showed more energy and took more risks.

''It's just a shame that when we got to 2-1 that we couldn't keep the score like that for 10 minutes because, after what happened to Arsenal last week, they would have been shaky.

''Their third goal was the pivotal moment of the game but overall we were beaten by a better team than ourselves, simple as that. The best thing to do as a team is to learn from that and the good thing is we did get a positive reaction in the second half.''

CL: Braga vs Arsenal 2-0

By Richard Clarke at Estadio Municipal de Braga

Arsenal must now beat Partizan Belgrade in the final game of Group H in order to be sure of qualification to the Knockout Stages of the Champions League.

Arsène Wenger's side are left playing brinkmanship after they slipped to defeat at Braga on Tuesday night.

Matheus sealed Arsenal's fate. With seven minutes remaining, the Brazilan broke through and kept his nerve to steer a shot beyond Lukasz Fabianski. With the final kick of the game, he held off two challenges to add a second.

The visitors were down to 10 men at the time - Emmanuel Eboue had been stretchered off and Wenger had used all his substitutes. In addition they had just been denied a seemingly clear penalty when Carlos Vela was tripped in the area.

After that thought-provoking defeat to Tottenham on Saturday, this was the last thing Arsenal needed.

There is comfort in the fact Belgrade have lost all the Group H games but it would appear that top spot is now gone given that Shakhtar only need a point at home to Braga.

It was another tough night for Wenger's men.

The manager's team selection tapped into the slate-wiping mood that had followed the weekend. He made seven changes in all.

Only Lukasz Fabianski, Denilson, Sebastien Squillaci and Cesc Fabregas remained from Saturday's side. Five of the seven omitted went to the bench meanwhile Gael Clichy (back) and Andrey Arshavin (rested) missed out entirely. Robin van Persie was left in London to work on his fitness.

The scene inside the Estadio Municipal de Braga was slightly surreal. This two-sided ground is carved into a quarry with a sheer rock face behind one goal and a grassy hill behind the other.

Coupled with that, the home side were playing in red shirts and white sleeves - a look taken from a former President's trip to Highbury in the 1920s. Meanwhile Arsenal were in yellow.

All very odd.

Kieran Gibbs was the main attacking threat for the visitors in the first 15 minutes.

In the opening seconds he reached the left-hand byline before crossing in the hope of finding Nicklas Bendtner at the far post. Moises cleared the danger.

In the eighth minute the Braga defender would head over the bar from Luis Aguiar's free-kick.

However Gibbs was still the focus. Aguiar headed another of his crosses clear and the full back forced Braga to scramble the ball away on a number of other occasions.

In the 18th minute Bendtner and Walcott set up Fabregas, who fired a shot over the bar.

On the half-hour, the captain saw his free-kick tipped over the bar by Felipe after Leandro Salino had fouled Emmanuel Eboue just outside the area. From the corner, Johan Djourou steered a shot wide at the far post.

To be honest, in the first 30 minutes there had been little pace or pattern about the game. But Arsenal had owned all the urgency and invention involved.

The game would pick up as half-time approached.

There was the merest sniff of a spark when Fabregas fed the scampering Walcott with a defence-splitting pass. The England winger beat Felipe to the ball but the keeper's sliding challenge cleared the danger.

Play switched to the other end and Lima's long-range snapshot forced Fabianski to dive full-length even though the ball went wide.

Eboue fouled Matheus on the left-hand touchline and Aguiar's free-kick was headed into the side-netting by Bendtner.

Five minutes before the break, Walcott broke clear and fired a shot beyond Felipe and the far post.

Suddenly, it seemed we had a game on our hands.

In the dying seconds, Bendtner was fouled 25 yards out and Fabregas thumped the free-kick wide. It was the final act of a largely forgettable first half but one in which Arsenal had been clearly the better side.

The second period started the same way, only this time Walcott missed the target with his free-kick.

Matheus dragged a shot wide for Braga in response but, once again, the game was settling into its altogether lethargic first-half groove.

It seemed that only a piece of individual skill or, more likely, a mistake, could provide the opening goal.

On the hour, the latter scenario nearly came to pass. Alan curled in a cross from the right and Squillaci could only nod his clearance to Aguiar, who fired a low shot inches wide of Fabianski's left-hand post. In the context of this game it was a massive moment.

Wenger sensed the need for change and brought on Samir Nasri for Fabregas, whose hamstring injury had made him touch-and-go to start. Chamakh replaced Bendtner soon afterwards.

Arsenal were still lively. Wilshere nearly dribbled his way through the entire Braga defence and Moises slid in to stop Rosicky's right-wing cross finding Bendtner at the near post.

But as the game went into the final 15 minutes, neither keeper had made a serious save.

That should have changed in the 78th minute when substitute Carlos Vela appeared to be tripped by Alberto Rodriguez in the area. But referee Viktor Kassai booked the Arsenal striker.

It got worse for Arsenal when Eboue was carried off with an injury and Arsenal were left a man short.

And then it worse again

The visitors pushed for the equaliser but were caught on the break with seven minutes left when Matheus broke through and steered his shot beyond Fabianski and into the far corner.

Wenger's men looked to find a way back but Matheus added a sparkling second on the break.

It was not a fair reflection on the game but matters are conspiring against Arsenal right now.

They need to turn the tide and quickly.

Eat my bits and pieces!: LEGO Track Turbo R/C

Build your own LEGO racing car

If you want your wee geek to respect something, have them build it. If you've ever watched a kid furiously guard his own sandcastle while simultaneously trying to kick down his little sister's, you know this is true. The same holds for toys. If you give your wee geek an RC car, they MIGHT take good care of it, or they might drive it down the stairs repeatedly and laugh as things are bent and broken. (And if you have a little boy, chances are he's going to strap a couple of his sister's Barbies to the top and send them flying to their doom, Thelma & Louise style.)

The LEGO Track Turbo RC will be respected by your wee geek, especially if you encourage them to assemble it on their own. Sure, you can help a little, but don't get suckered into building the whole thing. It's only 92 pieces and the directions are pretty clear; your wee geek can do it! The Track Turbo RC racer features a spoiler, air intake, and oversized engine for blazing-fast speed. It's a pretty tough cookie and will handle quite a bit of crashing, but we have a feeling that once your wee geek invests the time in building it, they'll drive more like an old lady and less like they're trying out for Grand Theft Auto.

EPL: North London Derby Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspurs 2-3

By Richard Clarke

Tottenham recorded their first victory on Arsenal territory in 17 years amid incredible scenes at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

The home side seemed to have the game under control in the first half. Samir Nasri’s persistence paved the way for the first goal and then Marouane Chamakh slid in another from Andrey Arshavin’s cross.

However, Gareth Bale started the revival five minutes after the restart and then, just before the hour, Cesc Fabregas was adjudged to have handled from a free-kick and Rafael van der Vaart scored from the spot.

Five minutes from time, the Dutchman floated over a free-kick from the right and Younes Kaboul touched a delicate header into the far corner.

It was a stupefying comeback on a day that could have seen Arsenal go top of the table.

Wenger’s men had put themselves in that position with back-to-back away wins. However there is little home comfort for them at the moment.

This is the third defeat in their last five Premier League games at Emirates Stadium. But while the wins for West Brom and Newcastle were painful for a day or so this one will ache for a long, long time.

It was Tottenham’s first victory in Arsenal’s new home.

That is difficult enough to digest. What it did to the title ambitions of Wenger’s side can be assessed later.

Derby day is always special but this one had received a bigger build-up than most. For the first time, the visitors came with Champions League credentials. Finishing fourth last season had led some to suggest the gap between the two sides had closed. On this cold, bright North London afternoon that theory would be put to the test.

Wenger made two changes from the side that had won so well at Everton last Sunday.

Denilson replaced Jack Wilshere, just like he had at half-time at Goodison Park. Laurent Koscielny returned from suspension so Johan Djourou dropped to the bench. Given his form, the Swiss centre back could count himself unfortunate to miss out.

Last season, William Gallas had occupied that role. Today he led out a Tottenham side with higher ambition than any other in recent memory.

Both sides conjured up cheeky chances in the opening five minutes. First, Bale backflicked Van der Vaart’s corner into the hands of Lukasz Fabianski at the near post. Then Nasri shoveled a pass over two Tottenham defenders to Fabregas on the right-hand byline but Heurelho Gomes intercepted at the near post.

However the keeper would soon be found wanting. In the 10th minute, Fabregas fed a pass forward towards Nasri, who had already shown his attacking intent this afternoon. The Frenchman chased after the ball but Gomes was favourite. Inexplicably the keeper then retreated a few paces before going for the ball. That allowed Nasri to poke it clear. However there still was much more to do.

The ball raced away towards the touchline and by the time Nasri reached it, he only had a sliver of the goal to aim at. Somehow he managed to hook his foot around the ball and trickle a shot over the line. It was his eighth goal of the campaign, bringing him level with Chamakh as top scorer. Temporarily, as it turned out.

The goal injected a confidence into Arsenal’s game. Fabregas wriggled clear on the right of the area and fired beyond the far post.

Midway through the half, Kaboul sent over a dangerous cross that Bacary Sagna flicked clear of Roman Pavlyuchencko and then headed over himself as the visitors mounted a modicum of pressure. But immediately after that, Arsenal stretched their lead.

Fabregas broke through the midfield and fed Arshavin on the right. His probing cross was touched home by the stumbling Chamakh. With just 27 minutes played, Arsenal were already cruising.

Luka Modric saw a shot batted away by Fabianski but Van der Vaart’s wild, wasteful shot suggested frustration had already set in.

The visitors continued to plough forward until the break. Fabianski was forced into a little caretaking but Chamakh caused much more consternation with a couple of moments just before the break. First he saw a shot charged down in a crowded area and then he went clear for a second but the ball got stuck under his feet and Spurs smuggled the ball away.

At the break, Tottenham brought on Jermain Defoe for Aaron Lennon. The England striker had been out for months with an injury but Harry Redknapp simply needed something different in his side.

Within five minutes, Defoe helped the visitors grab a foothold in the game.

It was his high hanging header that saw the Arsenal defence back off and allow Van der Vaart to feed the overlapping Bale. The Welshman took the ball in his stride and nudged it past Fabianski. A poor, poor goal to concede.

Suddenly Arsenal were anxious. The confidence of the opening half-hour had not exactly disappeared but they were now facing a side who had rediscovered itself.

Luka Modric danced through and blasted over as Tottenham looked for immediate parity. The home side responded with pressure of their own but, in the 67th minute, Tottenham did go level.

Alex Song fouled Modric 25 yards out and Van der Vaart fired his free-kick into the wall which was standing in the penalty area. The ball definitely hit the hand of Fabregas, which had been raised. The captain claimed he was protecting his face when the referee pointed to the spot.

When the protests had died down, Van der Vaart sent Fabianski the wrong way.

Squillaci’s header was ruled offside shortly afterwards then Fabregas fired a volley over the bar. Arsenal were stung.

Both sides made changes. Peter Crouch came on for Pavlyuchenko. For Arsenal, Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Tomas Rosicky replaced Chamakh, Arshavin and Narsi.

Wenger was clearly going for it.

Arsenal did create the better chances. Fabregas tried a curler but Gomes patted the ball beyond the far post. Then, with 15 minutes left, an unmarked Koscielny headed over the bar at the far post.

But Tottenham were still dangerous. Eight minutes from time, only Song’s strength stopped Van der Vaart pouncing after a scramble six yards out.

Then they grabbed the winner. Koscielny brought down Bale on the left and, from Van der Vaart’s expert delivery, Kaboul nudged a header into the far corner.

In the dying minutes, Arsenal mustered a response but not the chances to go with it.

This was a head-scratching afternoon for Wenger’s men who took two giant strides forward last week but took an almighty pace back this afternoon.

Winning the title will more than right this wrong but to do that they must arrest their sliding home form.

EPL: Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspurs-Preview

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has shaken off a back problem which ruled him out of England's defeat to France and comes into contention for the north London derby clash with Tottenham.

There were no other injury concerns from the midweek international friendlies, Laurent Koscielny returns from a two-game suspension and Nicklas Bendtner (groin) should be available after missing the win at Everton.

Goalkeeper Manuel Almunia (elbow), centre-half Thomas Vermaelen (Achilles), midfielder Abou Diaby (ankle) remain out, while Aaron Ramsey continues his rehabilitation following a broken leg.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has questioned the logic of any Arsenal fan aiming abuse at William Gallas in the north London derby.

Gallas will return to the Emirates Stadium for the first time since completing one of the most controversial transfers of recent times by joining their arch-rivals Spurs.

Crossing the north London divide this summer has all but guaranteed the former Gunners captain a hostile reception from the Emirates Stadium crowd.

But Redknapp cannot understand anyone wanting to jeer the 33-year-old, who was released by Arsenal at the end of last season.

He said: "You play for a club, play well for them: you should get a good reception, surely? What do they want to give them abuse for?

"He got freed from Arsenal and I took him to Tottenham and he wants to play football.

"He's come here and played, done great for us.

"He's taken us where we are in the Champions League. He's played a big part in that and in the league.

"I hope he gets a good reception.''

Redknapp backed the vastly-experienced Gallas, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in 2006, to cope with whatever is thrown at him.

"His frame of mind: he's a strong character; nothing fazes him,'' Redknapp said.

"He'll go back there, look forward to the game and be ready to play.''

Yet Bacary Sagna has declared "war'' on Gallas.

But the Gunners full-back insisted the pair would resume their strong friendship as soon as the final whistle is blown at the Emirates Stadium.

This weekend sees Gallas return to his former club for the first time since crossing the north London divide in one of the most controversial transfers of recent years.

The 33-year-old Tottenham defender can expect a hostile reception from the home fans, many of whom will have branded him a traitor.

And Gallas will be very much the enemy as far as Sagna is concerned during the lunchtime clash.

"On the pitch there is a war, but off the pitch we are all friends,'' he said.

Indeed, Gallas' fellow Frenchman bears no grudge towards his former captain for joining Arsenal's arch-rivals.

"I'm not angry at him because he signed for our rivals,'' said Sagna.

"He was always very professional (here) and he always gave everything.

"Football is football; I'm not furious against him.

"He needed to leave to play football and that is what he loves.''

Gallas' temperament was questioned during his time as Arsenal captain and he was infamously stripped of the armband after attacking his team-mates.

"That was his hunger because he wanted to win so much,'' Sagna said.

"Maybe he expressed it in a bad way but it was not bad at all because he wanted us to win.''

He added: "He deserves a good reception because during the time he played for Arsenal he always did well.''

Sagna believes it is too soon to start comparing Gareth Bale with the best players in the world but has no doubt of the threat he poses.

"He's doing very well at the moment but don't put pressure on him too early,'' Sagna said.

"At the moment, he's one of the most dangerous wingers.''

Jermain Defoe returns to the Tottenham squad.

The England striker could be involved in the Barclays Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium after recovering from ankle surgery almost a month ahead of schedule.

Aaron Lennon looks to have overcome a hamstring injury but Niko Kranjcar is doubtful with a calf problem and could join Robbie Keane (ankle), Giovani dos Santos (groin) and long-term absentees Tom Huddlestone (ankle), captain Ledley King (groin), Michael Dawson (ligament damage), Jamie O'Hara (back) and Jonathan Woodgate (groin) on the sidelines.

Why Fly When You Can Drive?: The BatVan

I didn't even know Batman had a van. Ooooor a blow-up Robin love doll for when he's crime-fighting out of town. So yeah, double-whammy. Anyway, this is a BatVan modded by some crazy Japanese fanboy.

Although custom vans are just a bad memory in America, they are still hugely popular in Japan. The Batvan is the result of one van owner's decision to mix a serious love of Batman with Japan's extreme custom van culture.

Good job. I mean, it's gaudy as hell and I wouldn't be caught dead in it for fear of of those wings exceeding the max-height restriction for an overpass, but hey -- to each their own. My own just so happens to be a car that looks like an actual car. If actual cars looked like vaginas rocket ships. Light's green -- PSSSSHOOOOOOW!

Nov 17 2010 Iron Man/War Machine Cosplay, British Edition

Two British blokes decided to don their highly impressive Iron Man/War Machine costumes and take a jaunt around jolly ol' London. No word if they had fish & chips.

32-year-old John Bekkensten, from Norway, is an established sculptor for the movie industry, with works featured in blockbuster hits like "Gladiator". "Braveheart", "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" and others. But John is also a big fan of Iron Man, so apart form his official projects, he spent over a year replicating the costumes of the popular hero and his sidekick, War Machine, out of fiberglass and plastic.

John ended up wearing the much cooler War Machine costume, while his buddy got the chance to be Iron Man. Together they got on double decker buses, took picture with London guards and managed to stun pretty much everyone they passed by.

$1 Million Porsche-Designed Advent Calendar: time is money...it is now...

Forget cheap chocolates, you are more likely to bag a yacht or a designer kitchen if you open one of the windows in a new $1 million advent calendar.

Standing two meters tall and rendered from brushed aluminum, the "calendar" looks more like a sophisticated art installation than a festive timetable. But it's behind the 24 luminous windows -- representing each December day before Christmas -- that the real surprises are hidden.

They include a pair of 18 carat gold sunglasses, aluminum fountain pens, a lambskin jacket, a limited edition chronograph watch, a customizable designer kitchen and, to crown it all, a luxury eight-meter yacht.

Bubble Tents: Let's get bubbly...

Bubble tents: for admiring the great outdoors without actually having to be out of doors. Hey, that reminds me of something. Oh right -- WINDOWS.

Launched this year, the structures can be now be hired out at sites across France for around £400 pounds (~$635) a night.

Once the 'bubble' is inflated, it's kept in shape with an airlock at the entrance and a silent pump, which keeps a constant pressure on the surrounding 'walls'.

Outside sound is kept to a minimum while inside noise is magnified, which, according to Mr Dumas, encourages the occupants to create a peaceful atmosphere by whispering.

Mr Dumas added: 'For me, Bubble huts are a place apart where you can rest, breathe or just stand back.'

'Having a night under the stars or seeing the sun rise and set is not something that many people experience anymore.

Finally!!!...The Beatles are now on iTunes

So yeah, after years of holding out, the owners of the Beatles catalog have finally agreed to its release on iTunes. What does this mean? It means you can buy Beatles songs and albums on iTunes now. For real, this ain't rocket Scientology. What it is is nine years late. Individual songs are $1.29, albums are $12.99-$19.99 and you can get the whole boxed set for $149. Me? I've had it for years.

EPL: Everton vs Arsenal 1-2

Goals from Bacary Sagna and Cesc Fabregas proved decisive as Arsenal held off an Everton fightback to claim second place in the Premier League with a 2-1 win.

Sagna opened the scoring after 35 minutes at Goodison Park with a ferocious strike from a tight angle and Fabregas doubled the lead early in the second half.

Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh spurned glorious chances to add to the lead but Everton produced a thrilling finish and deservedly pulled one back through Tim Cahill late on.

The Gunners also had Lukasz Fabianksi to thank for their three points, the goalkeeper having produced fine saves to deny Jermaine Beckford, Steven Pienaar and Louis Saha.

Jack Rodwell also blazed a fine chance over as Everton refused to surrender their seven-match unbeaten run without a fight.

The Toffees had their first chance of the afternoon from a set-piece as Mikel Arteta swung in a corner but Saha, impeded as team-mate Cahill jumped for the same ball, headed wide.

Nasri broke clear for Arsenal but opted not to pass as he reached the box and Sylvain Distin stuck out a leg to block his shot.

Everton countered swiftly from the resulting corner as Cahill released Coleman down the right. The exciting Irishman beat Fabregas as he raced into the box but Cahill headed over.

Jack Wilshere almost found a way through for Arsenal after intricate play involving Chamakh and Nasri but Phil Jagielka slid in at the cost of a corner.

Everton probed forward and Saha curled a shot over after Cahill failed to control the ball on the edge of the area.

After a subdued period, the game came to life as Sagna opened the scoring with a ferocious strike in the 35th minute.

Nasri first tested Tim Howard as he cut in from the right and unleashed a powerful left-foot shot from outside the area. The American saved well to his left but Andrei Arshavin retrieved the ball and teed up for Sagna to rifle into the top corner from a tight angle.

Webb courted controversy on the stroke of half-time when he refused Pienaar a free-kick just outside the area after an apparent push by Alex Song.

Saha then headed against the post from a corner but Webb caused further ire when he pulled up play to give a goal-kick having apparently felt the initial cross swung out of play.

Rodwell made a welcome return for Everton in the second half after 11 weeks out with an ankle injury, the midfielder replacing John Heitinga.

Arsenal also made a change with Denilson coming on for Wilshere and the Brazilian was soon involved.

Denilson won the ball after Arteta was fed a poor pass in the centre circle and broke forward. Fabregas then worked the ball on to Chamakh in the box and the Spaniard took a quick return pass to swivel and shoot beyond Howard.

Everton attempted to hit back and Arsenal were fortunate not to be reduced to ten men as Saha was hacked down by last man Sebastien Squillaci.

Fabregas was booked after a challenge on Distin which left both players on the ground but the incident appeared accidental, then Rodwell shot over.

Arsenal should have had a third after Nasri broke the length of the field but Howard stood up until the last moment to block the Frenchman's shot.

Chamakh then put another glorious chance over from a Fabregas cross but Saha was unlucky at the other end when Song got in the way of a fierce shot.

Everton sensed the need to attack and manager David Moyes went with three up front as he replaced Arteta and captain Neville for Yakubu and Beckford, who immediately went close as he turned sharply in the area but Fabianski tipped around the post.

Yakubu then picked out Pienaar with a low cross but again Fabianski was alert - and the goalkeeper did brilliantly to tip away a Saha shot.

Everton finally got on the scoresheet with two minutes remaining when Saha jumped high to reach a cross at the back post and Cahill fired past Fabianski - but four minutes of injury time did not produce an equaliser.

Cesc Fabregas believes his goal came at a vital time for Arsenal as they claimed a 2-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park to stay in touch at the top of the Premier League.

Fabregas told Sky Sports News: "The second goal was an important goal early in the second half. We knew they would push hard at us and at the end they scored and we were a bit nervous.

"It was a good performance. Defensively we looked solid, our only regret is that last minute goal. We played very well, we were in control. We knew their game was long ball but we did well against it.''

Fabregas now wants to see the team build on the win as they look to rein in leaders Chelsea. "We want to do well until the end, this is just one more step until the end,'' he said. "It's good we're in second position, we're improving, We just need Chelsea to drop some points now.''

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger felt his side were rewarded for their hard endeavour. Wenger said: "The most important qualities we showed were discipline, commitment, honest desire, 100% focus for 90 minutes.

"That got us the three points - if you come here without that you don't get the three points. We've had two difficult away games, Wolves and here, but we have got six points and that puts us in a good situation. The team has shown great spirit.

"We could have scored more but we were nearly punished and we needed a few good saves from the keeper because we became a bit too conservative. We were hanging on a bit at the end but overall I am satisfied with 2-1.

Wenger allayed fears midfielder Jack Wilshere, who is due to join up with England this week, was removed at the interval because of injury.

The Frenchman said: "He is not injured. I wanted a second holding player to win the second balls from the headers and I thought he looked a bit tired today. He will be all right to go with England.''

Everton could also feel aggrieved that a number of crucial decisions from referee Howard Webb went against them. David Moyes chose not to highlight those incidents and was generally disappointed with his side's performance.

He said: "I have not looked back at any of the incidents. All I have got is the first view I had at the time. Could it have been a sending off? Some referees would have but I haven't seen it again so I can't comment.

"My view from the dugout was it was a decision for the referee. He may have got it right, I don't know.

"I can't really feel as if we deserved an awful lot. I don't think we played all that well. I didn't think there was much in the game before the first goal. I didn't think Arsenal were great and I don't think we were.

"Losing a goal just before half-time was crucial to them and the one just after half-time made it really difficult. We tried to keep going, we'd wanted to do that from the first minute but I never felt we got into the tempo or speed of the game.

"There were things which on another day may have gone in Everton's favour but didn't. I thought we created one or two chances which on another day we might have scored. If we'd got the goal a bit earlier then who knows?''

That's It, I'm Moving: Spanish Neighborhood Gets Video Game Inspired Street Names

The Zaragoza suburb of Arcosur is a government-sponsored neighborhood in Northeast Spain designed for younger, first-time home buyers. And, after a round of voting by future homeowners, has decided to name a number of its streets after video game characters (NOT dinosaurs), starting with 'Super Mario Bros Avenue'. There's even gonna be a Zelda one. *Google Mapping* I call dibs on a trailer lot!

Onlookers sporting fake black mustaches cheered. A Mario mascot danced. And a violin and cello duet performed the catchy theme song from the popular Nintendo game as the suburb in Zaragoza, northeast Spain, unveiled "Avenida de Super Mario Bros" Saturday.

But the cartoon plumber character, who turns 25 this year, isn't the only one who will be honored by residents of Arcosur, which is still under construction.

Other planned roads in the neighborhood include streets named for "Sonic the Hedgehog," "Space Invaders" and "The Legend of Zelda."

The government-sponsored Arcosur project aims to build more than 21,000 residences for people ages 20 to 35 who are buying their first homes, he said. Construction began last year.

Pretty cool, right? I'd much rather live on Samus Street or Donkey Kong Drive than the road I do now. And not just because it's unsafe, but I am scared to walk to my car without pretending to talk on my cell phone sharpen a knife.

Flip-Flop Monkey, Have You Been Drinking?

This is a giant passed-out monkey sculpture made out of flip-flops in São Paulo, Brazil, to celebrate Pixel Show, an international art and design conference. Because if there are two things that go hand in hand in this world, it's drunk monkeys and art. Don't believe me? How do you think Picasso was so prolific? Because he painted practically nonstop? Oh. Nevermind then.

EPL: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Arsenal 0-2

Two-goal Marouane Chamakh got Arsenal back on the winning trail with a 2-0 success against gallant Wolves at Molineux.

Chamakh struck after only 39 seconds when he headed in a cross from Alex Song and wrapped up victory in injury-time.

It was the perfect riposte after their shock home reversal against Newcastle and kept Mick McCarthy's side in the bottom three.

The Gunners threatened to run away with the game in the early stages with their one touch football.

Wolves were indebted to keeper Marcus Hahnemann for keeping them in the hunt during that period.

But they hauled themselves back into contention via the creativity of Nenad Milijas and the endeavour of Stephen Hunt.

Arsenal got off to the perfect start through Chamakh's seventh goal of the campaign.

Song made a break down the right before delivering a probing cross - and Chamakh was first to react in sending his header past Marcus Hahnemann into the corner of the net.

It needed a fine save from Hahnemann to prevent Arsenal from doubling their lead.

Andrey Arshavin raced clear of the Wolves rearguard but Hahnemann came quickly off his line to reduce the angle and he blocked the resulting shot.

The home side were forced to make a change after only eight minutes when Dave Edwards limped out of the action to be replaced by Hunt.

Wolves were taking time to recover from their early setback and were indebted to Hahnemann for a second time.

Arshavin's low cross was only half cleared by Richard Stearman and Fabregas' shot was blocked by the feet of Hahnemann.

Wolves were being pulled apart and Christophe Berra had to make a timely block on Arshavin's shot after being found in space by Fabregas.

Wolves started to get a foothold in the game and Kevin Doyle, without a league goal this season, came close to putting them on level terms after 28 minutes.

Hunt floated in an inswinging free-kick from the right flank and Doyle's back header was only inches too high with Fabianski scrambling across his goal.

Doyle was then found in space by Milijas' raking long pass but his control let him down as he bore down on goal and Gael Clichy was able to make the interception.

Fabianski had to palm away a cross from Matt Jarvis that took a wicked deflection off Sebastien Squillaci and was about to creep inside the far post.

Wolves came close to emulating Arsenal's quickfire start to the first half in the opening minute of the second period.

Jarvis' low ball across the six yard box was met by Milijas but Sagna made a crucial block to deny him the equaliser.

Arsenal should have doubled their lead after a misplaced pass from Stearman fell to Rosicky outside the Wolves box.

He delivered the ball back into the penalty area to the unmarked Fabregas but he sent his shot wide.

Wolves started to apply pressure and Fabianski tipped over a curling effort from Doyle which looked destined for the top corner of the net.

Rosicky came to Arsenal's rescue after 58 minutes when he cleared Stearman's close range effort off the line from Milijas corner.

Wolves were saved by the woodwork six minutes later as Arshavin's low drive beat the dive of Hahnemann but rebounded to safety off a post.

Arsenal substitute Denilson was booked after 73 minutes for not retreating after Wolves had been awarded a free-kick.

Wolves skipper Karl Henry deflected a low effort off the line from Johan Djourou after Sebastien Squillaci had initially mis-kicked inside the six yard box.

Stearman was yellow carded in the 86th minute for chopping down Arshavin.

Then Fabregas went into the book 60 seconds later for a touch-line lunge on Stephen Ward who was stretchered off and replaced by Steven Fletcher.

Doyle almost rescued a point for Wolves when his low shot flew inches wide.

But in the dying seconds Chamakh wrapped up the points with a clinical piece of finishing.

McCarthy has no problem with Fabregas tackle

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy insisted he had no problem with Cesc Fabregas' tackle on Steven Ward, revealing the Arsenal captain had apologised to the player.

"Fabregas has gone for the ball. It is one of those when two blokes are running at full tilt and you slide in and he has got a cut on his leg," McCarthy said.

"Fabregas has been in to apologise and Wardy has accepted it like a man and I wish everyone would stop whingeing about tackling and complaining.

"It wasn't a bad tackle. I've no problem with it at all. It happens. What I can't do with is everyone bitching at my players and my team when we tackle.

"Just stop whingeing and accept it. Fabregas has been in and Wardy has accepted it and isn't it lovely? I said to Arsene I've no problem with the tackle and I really appreciate the apology."

Arsene Wenger said he did not see the incident, but claimed Fabregas was attempting to play the ball.

"I think it was an accidental tackle. That's what Cesc told me. He touched him (Ward) of course but he wanted to play the ball. He went to the dressing room and apologised to the player and he is all right.

"I have not seen the tackle yet but I have just apologised to McCarthy if the player is injured because I didn't know exactly what had happened because the linesman was in my view.

"Cesc says to me it was completely accidental but he still went to see the player to see how badly he was hurt. It doesn't mean he feels guilty."

Wenger was pleased to see his team get back to winning ways, reserving special praise for two-goal hero Marouane Chamakh.

"He was not sharp against Newcastle and I only played him for an hour after he had been sick for all the previous week," he said. "I thought he would be sharper tonight. If you look back since the start of season, he has been decisive in many games.

"We went early into the lead and the victory was so important for us tonight that the focus was more on defending and keeping the result safe.

"If you look at the game, we had many chances but I must say you have to give credit to Wolves. They are good defensively, they are good at winning the ball back and they always looked dangerous. They will give problems to anyone in this league."

Yves "Jetman" Rossy Becomes First Person To Do A Loopty-Loop With Rocket Pack On

Seen here reaching for the sky (or ground rather), 51-year old Yves "Jetman" Rossy successfully performed some rocket-powered aerial acrobatics last Friday, including the often tried, but rarely succeeded without crashing into the ground and dying "loopty-loop".

In his latest endeavour the 51-year-old airline pilot was taken to an altitude of 2,400m by a hot air balloon before jumping out and firing up his jet-pack.

He then flew for a few minutes to stabilise his wings, before flying two aerial loops and parachuting back to Earth 18 minutes later...

A statement on the Jetman.com website added: "This flight has been achieved with Yves Rossy's new wing, smaller (2 meters instead of 2.5 meters) and without unfoldable parts.

"This new prototype, designed by Yves and the RUAG Company, possesses a better aerodynamic profile and more stability.

Congratulations, Yves, on becoming the first man to perform tricks with a jetpack on. Please step forward to accept your award. HAHA -- just kidding! You haven't seen the Iron Man movies, have you?

EPL: Arsenal vs Newcastle United 0-1

Andy Carroll made headlines for the right reasons as his goal gave Newcastle a shock 1-0 win over title-chasing Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

Carroll, tipped to feature in England's senior squad for the friendly with France later this month, had started the day on the front pages following allegations about his private life.

However, under the close eye of watching England boss Fabio Capello, the Newcastle number nine headed in what proved to be the winner at the end of the first half.

Although Arsenal twice hit the woodwork through Cesc Fabregas' deflected free-kick and Theo Walcott, the Gunners were well below par and their miserable afternoon was compounded by the dismissal of centre-back Laurent Koscielny in stoppage time for a professional foul.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had also found his personal life under the media spotlight ahead of this fixture.

Nevertheless, the French coach will have expected nothing but 100% focus from his team, whom he felt were complacent when throwing away an early lead in their midweek European tie.

After an initial spell of pressure from Newcastle, Arsenal slowly saw built momentum.

Walcott chased a long pass upfield which was smothered by keeper Tim Krul, before Marouane Chamakh just failed to collect Alex Song's pass at the edge of a crowded penalty area.

Newcastle had been thumped 4-0 by Arsenal in the Carling Cup clash at St James Park a fortnight ago, but went into this game buoyed by their thrashing of local rivals Sunderland.

Arsenal - looking to keep the pressure on leaders Chelsea, who play at Liverpool later this afternoon - almost took the lead on 11 minutes when Fabregas' deflected 22-yard free-kick crashed against the crossbar after ricocheting off the wall.

The Gunners captain was then played into the right side of the penalty area, but was quickly crowded out before Walcott's chip across the six-yard box was headed behind.

Arsenal, though, were left frustrated as Newcastle broke up play well, and were awarded a few free-kicks which were delivered direct into the penalty area.

The atmosphere went a bit flat as half-time approached, with Arsenal not really able to get near their usual fluidity.

When Fabregas was slipped in down the right by Samir Nasri, his shot at the near post was blocked into the sidenetting as the home fans continued to grow restless.

The Emirates Stadium, though, almost erupted when Nasri's drive appeared to be heading for the top corner - only for Krul to pull-off a fine one-handed save.

Newcastle took a shock lead on the stroke of half-time when a deep free-kick into the Arsenal box from Joey Barton was met by Carroll, who got there ahead of Lukasz Fabianski to nod the visitors in front.

At the start of the second half, Arsenal hit the woodwork again when Walcott darted into the right side of the area from Jack Wilshere's pass and lashed in an angled drive, which crashed against the underside of the bar with Krul beaten.

Arsenal continued to press, with Song cutting the ball back across the six-yard box, but Chamakh was unable to connect.

With 35 minutes left, Wenger made a change when he sent on Andrey Arshavin to replace Nasri and then introduced Robin van Persie for the Dutchman's first appearance since the end of August after an ankle injury.

Van Persie's first touch was a lovely backheel down the left, with Gael Clichy then delivering a low cross which was just too far ahead of Arshavin.

Newcastle, though, continued to show little regard for reputation as they looked to hold possession in a match which started to become somewhat scrappy as Wilshere was left in a heap following a challenge from Barton, but the referee took no action before defender Mike Williamson send a header wide from a corner.

Wenger's last throw of the dice came with 17 minutes left when Nicklas Bendtner replaced Wilshere.

Arshavin almost weaved his way clear, but Fabricio Coloccini made a saving tackle in the six-yard box.

Arsenal had pace in abundance up front now, but Newcastle continued to hold their ground.

Fabregas' diving header was straight at the keeper following Arshavin's run as Wenger looked to the heavens.

Arsenal threw long balls forwards, but Newcastle were not to be denied a shock victory as the hosts finished with 10 men after centre-half Koscielny was shown a straight red card for hauling down substitute Nile Ranger.

Zip-Bed Never Has To Be Made, Only Zipped

The Zip Bed is a bed designed with zip-up covers. Why? I have no idea. I assume it has something to do with bed bugs.

Italian furniture design company Florida has created the perfect bed for those mornings when you just want to grab a coffee and run out the door. All that you have to do is simply get out and zip it up - no more making your bed in the morning. At night, you just unzip it and climb back in. If you like the snugged-up feeling, you can even be "zipped-in."

An Italian furniture company named Florida? Why not Florence? Also, I could have sworn these were invented forever ago and sold under another name. What were those things called? Oh right, SLEEPING BAGS. Which, fun fact: I used to be so afraid of ghosts raping me at night I would only sleep in a sleeping bag with just my head poking out. It's true -- I would sweat so badly eventually the interior fabric would start to mold. But Capser never got that ass.
