You're So Oldschool!: Cassette Tape Watches

This is a $135 EOS Mixtape Watch (that looks fairly similar to THIS tape watch). For those of you born yesterday, it looks like a cassette tape, which was a popular audio format from yesteryear before the advent of holographic music discs and iProds. OMG I USED TO MAKE THE BEST MIXTAPES!

Introducing the EOS Mixtape Watch. This watch features a anodized steel case with "EOS NEW YORK" laser etched onto the base. On the sides of the case laser etched also is a robot and "60 MIN." On the dial is two movable discs which look like the movement of a real cassette tape. On the right dial is where the hands are for the time. There are also orange markers present to indicate time.

Ambigrammatic Tattoo

"Art & Science / Philosophy" -- designed by renowned typographer John Langdon, best known for providing the artwork featured in the novels of Dan Brown.

I Want Purple!: A Visual Guide To Lightsabers

Get your printer and lamination machines ready, because this Lightsaber comparison chart is definitely worthy of your walls. It sorts the goodies from the baddies, even if there is some contention over the color of Mace Windu's 'saber.

Nevermind my allegiance, I want Darth Maul's double-bladed saberstaff, which he made himself by welding two lightsabers together. Maul had brains, you can't argue with that.

Fancy, Your Pants Are: Star Wars Gentlemen

Greg Peltz, best known for being the soldier half of this Team Fortress II cosplay team, has gone and created a small series of Victorian looking Star Wars portraits. This is Vader here but there's Boba, C-3PO and Chewbacca. Except the Vader is a little more Civil War-y than Victorian.

You'll Never Stack Up!: The Who-Tall-Are-You Mirror Compares Your Height To Celebrities'

Ever wonder how tall you are compared to your favorite celebrities? Me neither. But the Who Tall Are You Mirror’s got you covered anyway, just in case you get a little curious. It’s also a good way to rule out which celebrities you’d totally never date because of height issues. Because we all know you totally have a chance with celebrities in this lifetime and can pick and choose them to your liking based on height.

Nerf Recon CS-6 - Review!

The Nerf Recon features a modular component design, users can swap the various parts to customise it to fit any tactical situation.

It's loading/unloading and manual bolt action firing mechanisms are similiar to the Nerf Longshot, but in a more compact scale with the bolt slider situated on top instead. Both the Nerf Recon and Longshot can utilise the same parts and tactical attachments. In addition, both use the same 6-dart magazines and are only compatible with streamline foam darts.

The Nerf Recon package also includes an adjustable ladder sight to aid in aiming, and a tactical targeting laser module which can switch between red-beam spotlight or focused red-dot targeting (requires 2 x AAA batteries).

The average firing range of the Nerf Recon is similiar to the Nerf Longshot at around 30 ft.

Note that the Nerf Recon is packaged with only 1 x 6-dart magazine, it can hold a spare magazine in its butt stock but you'll have to purchase that separately.

Nerf Longstrike CS-6 - Review!

Introducing the Nerf Longstrike CS-6

The Longstrike is a bolt-action single-shot blaster with a clip-fed ammo system. It uses a spring powered reverse-plunger mechanism (similiar to the Nerf Recon and Raider).

As part of the N-Strike range, its components and parts are interchangeable with compatible N-Strike blasters (ie. Longshot, Recon, Raider or Deploy) and it can also use most N-Strike tactical rail accessories too.

Its shoulder stock can hold another 2 extra clips (additional clips sold seperately). Also included is a flip-up sight which can be mounted on its tactical rail.

The package comes with 1 x 6-dart clip, along with 6 streamline darts. Average firing range is around 30-35ft.

2,500 Piece LEGO Imperial Shuttle Coming Soon

LEGO is releasing a 2,504 piece Star Wars Imperial Shuttle this September for $260. For reference, that's four days' pay for me (plus two after-hour HJ's).

This beast is bigger than my old model, at 28 inches tall (71 centimeters) and 22 inches wide (57 centimeters) when the foldable wings are fully deployed. The cockpit allows you to sit figures inside, and it includes five minifigs:Darth Vader, Shuttle Pilot, Imperial Officer, Stormtrooper and Luke Skywalker from Return of the Jedi.

The Imperial Shuttle also has rotating double laser wing cannons, landing gear, and a display stand.

Simple But Genius: Stand-Up Toothbrushes

Stand-up toothbrushes are toothbrushes with an integrated Weeble Wobble (read: weighted base) at one end so they always stand up and don't collect shit particulate laying on the bathroom sink (oh it's there -- you can't see it but it's there).

Take one look at this brilliant design concept for a toothbrush, and you can see how it's a big improvement over current designs. Set it down, and its head pops upright, thanks to a weight embedded in the bottom.

The toothbrush's bulbous base fits neatly in the hand, too. It's such a good idea, it won a Red Dot Concept Award.

Impressive. But you know what would be even more impressive? If the actual brush heads were replaceable.

The NERF Deploy CS-6

The Nerf Deploy features a unique mechanism that transforms it from a "torch" into a blaster.

In stealth mode, it is carried like a briefcase and has an in-built torch light that is powered by 3 x AAA batteries (sold seperately). Blaster deployment is done by the press of a button on the top of the unit.

During deployment, the front ammo clip section rotates to the left, the shoulder stock extends backwards and the trigger grip flips out. This deployment mechanism is powered by in-built spring systems.

In deployed blaster mode, it is a pump-action single-shot blaster with a clip-fed ammo system. The Deploy uses a spring powered reverse-plunger mechanism (similiar to the Nerf Recon and Raider).

As part of the N-Strike range, its components and parts are interchangeable with compatible N-Strike blasters (ie. Longshot, Longstrike, Recon or Raider) and it can also use most N-Strike tactical rail accessories too.

The package comes with 1 x 6-dart clip, along with 6 streamline darts. It also includes an adjustable strap too. Average firing range is around 25-30ft.

Could this be the Arsenal 2010/2011 home kit? what do you viewers think?

I got these images from one of the forums in the Footballshirtculture.com, It is not the official home kit yet but it somehow give an idea of how the official home kit would look like....

I kind of like it, a combination of the 71/72 home shirt as can be seen from the round neck collar and obviously the other details that resembles the 2009/2010 home kit.

We are just going have to wait for Arsenal.com to announce it...Gunners4life!!

Panasonic's New 152-Inch 3-D Plasma TV

Panasonic just announced their upcoming line of "ultra-large" (read: f***ing huge) 3-D plasma televisions. They're gonna come in 85, 103 and 152-inch flavors, which I find more than a little annoying considering I just sprung for a 151-incher last year. Typical!

The Osaka firm's new TH-152UX1 plasma display measures a colossal 152 inches across the diagonal, allowing the engineers to pack in 8.84 million pixels, four times the high-definition standard, AKA the legendary 4K.

Anyone able to afford the estimated $100,000-plus asking price for the 152-incher might also want to reinforce their abode. The daddy of the family can be mounted on either a wall bracket or a floor pedestal but, at 590kg [~1,300lbs], we'd like to see them try.
