Arsène Wenger’s side take their place among Europe’s elite after a 5-0 aggregate win over Fenerbahce in the play-off.

They came back from Turkey with a 3-0 advantage in the first game and, on Tuesday, completed the job with a 2-0 win at Emirates Stadium.

Dino Pet, A Bioluminescent Algae Nightlight For Kids

bioluminescent-dino-nightlight.jpg

This is Dino Pet, a plastic dinosaur shaped jar filled with a bioluminescent marine algae that will glow when agitated at night. You just leave the dino in indirect sunlight (or a low watt bulb) during the day, then shake the hell out of it at night for a ton of NIGHT TIME IS THE RIGHT TIME FUN.

Dino Pets are currently a Kickstarter campaign but already funded so $40 guarantees one when they ship next April. They will also be selling nutrients for $10 that will keep your algae colony thriving for around 6 months, and additional algae to add in the event your kid puts the thing in the microwave and/or drink it.

EPL: Fulham vs Arsenal 1-3

13/14: Fulham 1-3 Arsenal - Lukas Podolski

Lukas Podolski bagged a brace as Arsenal stormed to a 3-1 win at Fulham on Saturday. Olivier Giroud poked the visitors in front after 14 minutes, making it three goals in three games for him this season.

Podolski, in contrast, had not started in the current campaign. But he would make up for that, burying a pair of shots from the edge of the area.

The Ring Gotham Deserves: A Batman Wedding Ring

batman-wedding-ring.jpg

This is the $2,500 - $3,500 Batman engagement ring designed by custom jeweler Takayas Mizuno. I'm not sure if somebody actually requested it or if he just designed it to show off the things he's capable of. Because a lot of time at work I make things nobody actually asked me to, just to show off my talent. Take this bad boy for instance.

"A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet drawing of a naked woman using different colored cells?" Pretty sick right? I've made like, a ton of these. "Wow, you even gave her nipples." WOMEN HAVE THEM DON'T THEY?

Lazyglasses: Watch TV Lying Flat On Your Back

lazyglasses-1.jpg

These are the $16 Lazyglasses from ThinkGeek. They allow you to watch TV or read while lying flat on your back so you don't have to hold your book or head up.

They're not actually a new concept though, I posted Skymall's $50 Prism Glasses almost six years ago. But they don't sell those anymore, presumably because they weren't exactly flying off the shelves out of seatback pockets.

Still, I kind of want a pair of these to, you know-- "Put your head between your legs and look up your buttcrack from the bottom?" Haha, yeah. I feel like it's something everybody deserves to see before they die.

When Life Hands You Lemons, Become A Superhero: Girl Breaks Arm, Paints Cast Like Iron Man Gauntlet

iron-man-cast-1.jpg

This is a shot of Redditor Caligineus's friend's cast. She broke her arm, then made the most of it by painting the cast to look like one of Iron Man's gauntlets. Impressive, but I would have gone the extra mile and broken both arms so I could rock two of them.

Then, I don't know, maybe cracked a couple ribs rollerskating so I could get a body cast and paint an arc reactor too. Of course that's just me and I'm a pro at GETTING INTO CHARACTER. One Halloween I even sawed a leg off so I could make a pegleg for my pirate costume. I came in fourth in the costume contest. NO REGRETS.

Prepare To Be Chopped!!: Samurai Sword Kitchen Knives

samurai-sword-kitchen-knives.jpg

This is a $60 set of Samurai sword kitchen knives designed by Fizz Creations and for sale at Gizoo. You get a chef's knife, bread knife, utility knife and paring knife, each in its own saya (scabbard). *drawing sword* DiGiorno pizza -- you burnt the roof of my mouth and sullied my family's good name, PREPARE TO EAT SHIT AND DIE. Red Baron -- you and I are still cool.
The ultimate kitchen accessory for the cultural cook! These fully functional kitchen knives look like genuine Japanese artefacts displayed in your kitchen on their very own stand, until you pull out the chef's knife and lay waste to the joint of beef that needs slicing! Prepare to slice your food the Samurai way!
Alternatively, just use the samurai sword replica you bought at the weapon kiosk at the mall, that's what I do. You ever sliced bread from a loaf before WHILE IT'S MID-AIR? Me neither, I'm not going to stop trying though. Try hard, believe in yourself, and save the bread that's fallen on the floor for guests -- that's my samurai motto.

Thanks to Brian S, who agrees they should make a set of kitchen knives that all look like little hand saws. Great, I think I just gave somebody a million couple hundred dollar idea.

10,000-Piece LEGO Mosaic Of Video Game Characters

lego-video-game-mosaic-small.jpg

Note: Larger version HERE.

This is a 75" x 45" LEGO mosaic made from 10,511-individual pieces that features a ton of oldschool NES and SEGA video game characters. Etsy seller Mytemporaryshop (awesome name) is currently selling the piece for $4,828.59 (strange price), with all proceeds going to help fund a friend's school project to send her class to Africa next year. Honestly, if I had $5,000 to blow I would consider it. Even more honestly, if I had $5,000 to blow I would also consider moving to Vegas.

A Fresh-Fried French Fry Vending Machine In Belgium

french-fry-vending-machine.jpg

This is a French fry vending machine in Belgium (they should have gone with waffles). For €2.50, in 90-seconds you get a fresh hot bucket of beef-fat fried fries and a dollop of either ketchup or mayonnaise, but NOT both. You have to choose.

Remember when you were a kid at the toy store and you wanted two toys but your mom said you could only pick one? It's like that. Except instead of G.I. Joes and Ninja Turtles, it's ketchup and mayonnaise. So, which is it going to be?

If you answered "Shake that f***er until it falls over and both start leaking out the side", congratulations, you're now covered in third degree burns from the scalding beef-fat.

UEFA CL: Fenerbache vs Arsenal 0-3

The team celebrate

Arsenal took a giant stride towards the Champions League group stages with a 3-0 win at Fenerbahce in the play-off first leg on Wednesday night.

Arsène Wenger’s side were pretty enough before the break. But after it, they would find a punch as well.

$$$: The Cost Of Being A Superhero, Then Versus Now

cost-of-superheroes-1.jpg

These are a series of five infographics (Spider-Man, Batman, The Hulk, Superman and Wolverine) created by Mashable that show the cost of being a superhero the year they made their first appearance versus now.

Super Mario Bros. Level 1-2 In 3D With More Realistic Sound Effects, Brick Breaking, Explosions

more-realistic-super-mario.jpg

Remember the first level of Super Modern Mario Bros.? Probably only vaguely or not at all, which is why I just linked to it. And we're back with level 1-2, now with better graphics, sound effects, and EXPLOSIONS.

And if there's one thing games need its better explosions. I take that back. If there's one thing games need it's more nudity, followed by explosions. Same goes for romance comedies.

Emirates Cup: Arsenal vs Galatasaray 1-2

13/14 Arsenal 1-2 Galatasaray - Theo Walcott

Didier Drogba grabbed two late goals to clinch the Emirates Cup for Galatasaray on Sunday.

Arsenal seemed to be cruising to victory before Ignasi Miquel was adjudged to have bundled over the former Chelsea striker with 12 minutes left. The Ivorian scored from the spot himself.

However if that strike was debatable, Drogba’s second oozed quality. Three minutes from the whistle, he controlled Wesley Sneijder’s long ball into the area with one touch and buried a shot past Wojciech Szczesny with a second.

Emirates Cup : Arsenal vs Napoli 2-2

Laurent Koscielny

Arsenal fought back to snatch a 2-2 draw with Napoli on the opening day of the Emirates Cup.

Lorenzo Insigne fired the Serie A side ahead after seven minutes and Goran Pandev scored a composed second after Lukas Podolski's penalty was stopped by Pepe Reina.

Reina made a string of fine saves before Olivier Giroud hauled Arsenal back into contention with an instinctive overhead kick 18 minutes from time. And Laurent Koscielny nodded in a late equaliser after Reina had parried Per Mertesacker's header.

Babe Of The Month 08/13: Jaimie Alexander

Jaimie Alexander (born March 12, 1984) is an American actress best known for portraying Jessi on the TV series Kyle XY and Sif in the 2011 superhero film Thor.

Alexander was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and moved to Grapevine, Texas when she was four years old. She is the only girl in a family of four boys.  Alexander first got into acting in grade school, where she took theater for fun. Alexander stated that she was actually kicked out of theater when she was in high school because she could not sing and went into sports. When she was 17, she substituted for a friend at a meeting with a scouting agency and she met her manager, Randy James, who sent her some scripts. After graduation, a year and a half later, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
