Arsenal snatched a crucial three points at Fulham on Saturday in a game of two red cards – but it was oh-so close.

 

The pivotal moment in the game arrived after 12 minutes when Steven Sidwell caught Mikel Arteta on the shin and received the first dismissal.

 

Fulham responded well to their numeric disadvantage but they were caught out just before the break when Per Mertesacker headed home from close-range after Laurent Koscielny nodded on Theo Walcott’s free-kick.

Arsenal stormed into the top three by pulling off an incredible late comeback against Norwich at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

 

Arsène Wenger’s side were running out of time and inspiration as they entered the final five minutes against the relegation-threatened visitors.

 

Norwich had frustrated them for almost an hour then snatched an unlikely lead when Michael Turner headed home.
