The Mercedes-Benz Hexawheel concept is perfect if you need to do some serious off-roading and want to stay classy while doing so. Also, two Benzes are better than one and six wheels are better than four. That's just math.
The Hexawheel, conceived by Iranian engineer Siyamak Rouhi Dehkordi, has a two-part, articulated body for tumbling up and over any terrain. The designer said the concept was inspired by ants, whose segmented bodies give them the flexibility to crawl over all sorts of obstacles. If it works for the ants, it'll work for a Benz.
The Hexawheel sits three people in its front cabin and its rear storage bed is attached by a hydraulic joint—all of which is carried by its six all-wheel-drive wheels. I'd say it's the most inspired bug to car realization since the Beetle.
