Udinese's Colombian defender Cristian Zapata has claimed that Arsenal are one of the teams keen on signing him this summer.
The 22-year-old has been at the Friuli for four seasons and is rumoured to also be attracting interest from several other clubs in Italy.
Zapata told reporters:"Juventus, Fiorentina, AC Milan, Arsenal and Villarreal have requested information about me.
"There are many teams that are keen to sign me, but an official offer has not been made so far.
"I think if a good offer arrives then Udinese will have to consider it, but the club don't need to sell me immediately."
The Gunners have also been linked with a move to bring Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure to the club to link up with his brother, Kolo.
