Arsenal are ready to move for Marouane Chamakh.
With Emmanuel Adebayor on the brink of joining Manchester City, the Daily Mail says Wenger has already lined up Morocco's Chamakh from Bordeaux as a replacement.
Chamakh is also interesting Sunderland, with the bidding due to start at £8m.
Wenger said recently: "We are keen on Chamakh but someone would have to leave first."
