Huntelaar VS Chamakh.

If Adebayor signs for Man City for £25 million, Arsenal will buy a striker.
And Ade should sign for City because nobody else wants him. He is finished at Arsenal. He must have realised that by now.The fans want him to go and the manager is very keen to sell him.

In recent days Gooners have been asking :
Is Huntelaar a better bet than Chamakh ?

For me, Chamakh plays in avenues like Overmars, Anelka and Henry.
When Arsenal were dynamic, when Vieira and Petit won the ball early, when Bergkamp saw openings two seconds before anybody else, Arsenal could explode down avenues and kill teams with pace.

Huntelaar is not like Anelka or Henry or Chamakh. He is a completely different animal.
He is a box player you aim balls at.

If Fabregas, Nasri, Sagna and Arshavin crossed to him and passed to him, Huntelaar could score from five yards, eight yards, ten yards, with an occasional 20-yarder rifled into the bottom corner.

I've followed his career since he was at Herenveen, where he scored 33 goals in 46 league games, and know a little bit about him. I've always wondered if he was right for Arsenal. Since Arsenal have changed a lot, I wonder if he is right for this Arsenal. I wonder if he could partner Bendtner.

I wonder, particularly, if Huntelaar could be like Shearer
and Bendtner could be like Sheringham.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, 26 next month, has turned down Stuttgart, we read.
Despite that, I'm only gonna say three things about a guy who joined Real Madrid for 20 million euros in January 2009.

First, coming from a disappointment at Madrid, Huntelaar, would probably thrive at Arsenal in the same way that Bergkamp did after leaving Inter. In a World Cup season he wants regular football. He needs to be in the team every week.

Like Overmars, Huntelaar would have a fellow Dutchman around to help him settle in. He already knows RVP and has trained and played with him.

Secondly, Huntelaar is made for Arshavin.

He can score from crosses. He can volley goals, head goals, or hook shots in like Ruud van Nastelroy did for PSV and Man United. He can time his runs too, so he is made for Fabregas, although he doesn't have explosive pace. If Huntelaar had explosive pace he would cost £27m, not £17m.

Thirdly, I can't guarantee that a centre foward who was a goal-machine at Herenveen and a goal-machine at Ajax would be a goal-machine for Arsenal.
But I CAN guarantee that Huntelaar will not be called up in January for the African Cup Of Nations.

Chamakh will be called up by Morocco.Essien and Mikel will be wanted by Ghana and Nigeria.Drogba, Toure and Eboue will be called up by Ivory Coast.Cameroon will need Song. The last time I looked, Holland was not in Africa.
